Steve and Scott are both getting it on with the chick who writes the diary. It just all happens offscreen.
Interesting phrasing there, Skippy!
I sure assumed that they slept together. They didn’t come back till the next morning, and they both had lovey-dovey dopey grins and were holding hands.
That’s right.
Good for them!
Huh. 'Cause after Shannon’s little “take it slow” speech, I assumed they didn’t.
They just cuddled.
I thought “take it slow” were instructions.
I’d have to go back and watch it to remember why I think this, but in my mind, it was established quite clearly that it was the plane that was in the box in the first (second?) Kate flashback episode. The one with the bank robbery.
I have to agree with this. I don’t remember ever having any doubt that the plane was in the safe-deposit box until someone mentioned it today.
(And it was the second Kate flashback. )
Reread this thread.
It was discussed in the thread after this episode.
I know that we were supposed to THINK it was the plane, but when she removed it from the box on the island the envelope had a distinct bulge to it. The bulge was missing from the envelope she took from the safety deposit box.
Huh. I don’t remember any of that discussion. I do see that I didn’t post anywhere in the thread, so I’m guessing I never read it, as impossible as that seems. I usually have something to add, lame and unimaginative as it may be. Ohhh–looking at the dates, I spent that entire week in fevered delirium … no wonder I don’t remember it.
Ewww! But Scott is dead! … Or is it Steve?
Still it’s ewww.
I think it’s Scott, because Hurley mentioned Steve last night.
But hey … when your options are limited …

TEASER and PREVIEW are not the same thing, in TV speak, anyways.
When used in reference to a TV show, a Teaser is an attention getting vignette or highlight presented before or at the start of an episode. In some shows, the Teaser and Act I are together, in others, they are seperated by a commercial break or by the title sequence. A Preview is an advance notice of events in the next episode.
minor peeve of mine… continue
Well, you know those Hollywood moms. They’ve got personal trainers and nutritionists at the ready, even on obscure islands.
That’s why you’ll often see detailed summaries of shows outlined as:
Teaser
Act I
Act II
Act III
Climax/Act IV/Cliffhanger
Denoument
Okay I’ll try and clear up the US Canada preview.
I have a Bell Expressvu satellite system, I always watch Lost on ABC East. Of course CTV has the rights to broadcast Lost in Canada, so it takes over the ABC feed (this is called Sim-Subbing and it sucks, but is the the law).
So I see the complete episode of Lost in 1 hour. At the end (before the credits) CTV shows the preview for next week. I believe CTV creates these previews because the vice over is the same voice CTV uses for all their promos. Then at the top of the hour the sim-sub kicks out and I see the “Lost Minute” (because it reverts back to ABC) and I then see the ABC preview.
As far as last night goes, I missed the first couple of seconds of the preview but my wife said CFL said “they want your baby” to Claire. But I can neither confirm nor deny that.

Has anyone had the same thought about Charlie as I have? He was a heroin addict and the small plane that Locke and Boone found was full of heroin.
Anyone want to bet that Charlie finds the stuff and gets readdicted (if that’s the word).

gotta be one called “Imaginary Peanut Butter”
Dammit. Missed Track 10. I thought I was being soooo clever…
