Fair enough. I’ll include him.
Actually, that’s a very interesting point. I wonder if a HD freeze-frame would show anybody behind the wheel? I forget, did we see any of that when Michael got run down?
Hey, middleman! Made you look!
What’s her name? I tried to find her to compare on IMDB but there was no listing for “libby”.
In the process, I did see a list of guest stars for the episode, including:
Thomas Gibson … Greg DeGroot
Was anyone who fits being Greg DeGroot in the episode?
There were also other listings (search for 2.6) there for people I can’t identify - although they may have been named, but insignificant people.
Two nits: The slide moves the bullet forward, it doesn’t wait until magical fairies load the bullet into the chamber to move forward… the magazine is locked back by a small metal tab on the follower on the magazine holding back the slide when the follower reaches the top and the magazine is empty.
Second - Occam’s razor was never intended to be used to evaluate events, but rather as a guideline in forming arguments
And I could’ve put in a nit about “clip”, but I’m being anal enough as it is.
I doubt the sound guys that work on the show actually know the difference, they probably just used whatever sounded best in the context.
Watch some old Drew Carey reruns when they show the last couple seasons. She played Kelly, Drew’s girlfriend after Kate left to hang out in the hospital on Scrubs.
Re: Charlie and maybe taking a bit before his run in with Claire: I also got that feeling when he came down on Hurley about the peanut butter.
Re: Vincent: Look at his eyes. Are they shifty? That’s how you know a dog is evil. Also, have we seen a talking pie on the island?
Her name is Cynthia Watros. She’s not listed as a guest because she’s listed as a regular part of the cast this year, along with A.L. and Mr. Eko.
DAMN YOU!
I think we decided a couple of weeks ago that someone was playing with us. Thomas Gibson starred in Dharma & Greg. Get it?
Although with show, you never know.
Connection: Jack and Desmond met in the stadium.
Seems there’s a new page open over there at the Hanso Foundation:
And another one:

Hint: Type “Copenhagen” (without quotations) into the submit field.
Here’s one thing that puzzled me about this episode. Shannon sees freaky Walt, goes running after him, yelling, “Waaaaalllt” (what else?) and still AL is so suprised that she shoots Shannon? I mean, Shannon just didn’t pop out of the bushes with no warning. AL would have heard Shannon yelling. I don’t suppose the others go around yelling “Waaaallt” before they attack.
But, then again, if Shannon wasn’t shot but stabbed (as suggested earlier in this thread) then who knows?
All I’m getting from the “Copenhagen” thing is the quote from Hanso to the UN. Is there something else?
Verrrry interesting, that press release.
What do you want to bet that the Walt visions are a result of the “Accelerated Remote Viewing” facility.
Sorry, I should clarify those two posts. If you go to the root site (www.thehansofoundation.org), then click on “Active Projects” you’ll see the list of projects. If you click on the life extension project, you’ll be taken to a .gif of the first page. If you mouse over the last line in the letter, you’ll see it links to the second page I posted.
Sorry 'bout that.
Use a capital C.
I wouldn’t be a box of donuts and a poke in the eye against that. I think you’re right.
That occurred to me just after I submitted my post. Thanks!
So, we’ve got the Life Extension Project, which is clearly still in the works, and may have something to do with what Desmond was injecting himself with. There’s also innumerable WAGs involved regarding the ages of the Others, especially the Other kids.
The Mathematical Forecasting Initiative almost certainly has something to do with the numbers, so I can’t wait until that page fills in.
The Cryogenics thing kinda scares me–somebody’s going to find a bunker full o’ frozen people.
I have absolutely no idea what Juxtapositional Eugenics means. But of course, I can’t wait to find out.
How did you discover that Copenhagen was the password?
Well, in the letter about Joop, one of the sentences is “…the suite of transgenic technologies that compromise The Hanso Foundation’s Life-Extension Project …”. I’ll bet they’re related.
This page is getting to look like a CIA released Majestic 12 document…
Remote viewing is not remote projecting, but I’ve been thinking all along that the WAAAAALT! visions are being deliberately created by someone from one of the original psychological experiments. I wonder why they have speaking backwards, though.
I can’t do it right now–but somebody should check to see if Walt himself is a mirror image in those visions.
