Lost 3.22 "Through the Looking Glass" (SPOILERS)

I think he’s dead. They played the “Lost” theme as he was drowning, and that’s always an indication that something serious is going on… not some trick.

In fact, I suspect many of our Lostaways will die in the first episode(s) of the 4th season.

How many times has Hanso been mentioned on the show? I only remember one, a quick mention of Hanso as the founder of DHARMA in the first orientation film we saw. I checked Lostpedia to see if there were other mentions of Hanso, and apparently the only other mention was in un-subtitled Korean. If someone watches the show but didn’t follow the internet riddle games, it’d be real easy to forget about the name.

I guess I’ve over-estimated the prominence of the name “Hanso” in the show.

I do think that orientation film–the relevant portion of it–was shown at least twice, maybe three times, though. But that’s still not a lot.

Question - has it been absolutely confirmed that Charlie is dead, and won’t be returning? (except for occasional flashbacks and visions, obviously) The last shot of him was underwater, but it has been pointed out that there are ways he could survive.

There are interviews with both the actor and the producers where they clearly state that he is dead.

During the last weeks “next week on lost” episode clips I remember Hurley shouting aggressively “I want some ANSWERS” shaking a piece of paper or something.
Did I miss that scene in the season finale, or did I get it confused with something else?

That sounds like the scene toward the end of Season 1, Episode 18, “Numbers.” Hurley confronts Rousseau with one of the papers on which she had written the numbers over and over, which Sayid had taken earlier. To paraphrase, “Throughout everything, I’ve been happy go lucky fun-time Hurley. Well, now I want some frickin’ answers!”

ahh. I did watch the re-cap show, so maybe thats where I saw it. I could have sworn it was in the ‘next week on lost’ part, but perhaps I was mistaken.
