Well, every time someone turns the wheel they get sent back at a different time. So far we’ve only seen them get sent to the future, but it could send them to the past.
Nah, Peter stole it for Quagmire.

Ah, so another time loop then – the idea being that Daniel goes back to build the Lamppost, so that Dharma can find the island and thus be there to be able to send Daniel back to build the Lamppost, so that…
Ow. My nose is bleeding again.
Anybody want to start up a betting pool on which character will end up being their own Grandpa?
He was in a van in Dharmatown, I’d say I was close enough.
The ABC Lost recap lists her as Olivia Goodspeed, although the episode itself doesn’t mention her last name. She was in the car with Horace when he meets Ben’s parents and she’s on the island as a teacher. At some point, maybe not this episode, I forget, we see a wedding ring on a finger I think. Which led to certain assumptions.
Also, the “pop up” version of Cabin Fever said
I think the real story is that she was intended to be his wife, but this was never explicitly stated in the show, so when the actress couldn’t come back they replaced the character. They’ll probably retcon her as his sister or friend.
From the enhanced version:
the statue we saw in LaFleur is the source of the four-toed foot we saw before.
Also, they note that
Locke turned the wheel to get it back on it’s axis in order to stop the time jumps. I find this interesting because they seem to be backing away from “the 6 left and caused the time jumps, so we have to bring them back to stop the jumps.”
We already knew this, no? The jumps stopped three years before the 6 came back. Juliet even mentioned it. I imagine there’s more to the 6 coming back then just stopping the jumps. Probably has to do with the “war” that is coming.
Yes. There were inconsistent statements made, but Juliet makes the point explicit in the scene by the sub. I just found it surprisng that they put it that way in the pop-ups.
