I shed a tear for Sawyer & Juliet. Very moving, even though their entire relationship was told in 2 or 3 scenes together in the previous season.
As of this moment Jack hasn’t remembered yet. My prediction, with 40 minutes to go…
He remembers when he meets ATL Jacob or Esau. I think this will still happen.
Or… It happens with Kate and I’m completely wrong…

Jack is only the interim Jacob? But Hurley has to be the permanent Jacob?

There is the small fact that he stuck a knife in Jacob.

They fixed the windshield when he was welding, back when he said it would take 6 hours but they had to do it in 1.
So the knife and the light is back. And Jack’s down there. Does this mean that he’s going to become smokified like MIB originally did? Jack had time to get out of there before the light came back – he didn’t have to just sit there.

That runway looked like a much more solid surface today than it did when Ajira landed.
I’m still holding out that Jack will become a white-colored smoke monster.
I called it that Hurley would be the Island’s protector.

To be fair it looked like Jack wasn’t in any condition to move. Maybe the knife in the guts finally caught up with him.
At this point it looks like… Jack=New Smokey and Hurley=New Jacob. Still 20 minutes to go.
Aha - this is exactly what I’m thinking too.
I also just decided that Hurley will do a transfer-of-power with Ben. Nobody loves the island like Ben does and Ben has repeatedly said he’s staying with the island regardless.
