Lost & found, the MMP

Airman’s Humira comes in pens. One pen equals one shot. They take a lot of room in the sharps container.

Another day of work. Tomorrow is my Firday. Hopefully.

I slept like a rock last night.

Hope the drugs help FCD soon.

Sunny, she took a corchet hook?:dubious:

Butters, hope you and Hubby get to go home tomorrow.

{{{{Ruble and OW}}}}

faints away at this talk of needles and syringes
wakes up with flashback of the nasty saline taste in mouth

Where’s my cinnamon gum?

I’m working with Germaphobe tomorrow, so if my fever doesn’t break tonight she’ll throw me at the doctor’s office. Also, I have a gift for Squirrel AGM I need to give him. After dousing it with germicidal cleaner, of course.

Howdy Y’all! Home from dindin and Eucharist over to the church house. We had fried chikin! YUM!

I’s tahrd and so is OYKW. Thus we shall shortly retire to the boudoir for sleepy time.

Nitey Nite Y’all!

Wanna trade for my upper-80s?

One bit of good news: DH has a temp electrician gig that could last for a while (his agency contact says she was not informed of length).

Sympathies and (((hugs))), Mooom. The only thing worse than an achy husband is an achy husband who won’t take his damned pain meds.

Mister Matata’s surgery has been postponed from Friday to sometime in the future. Because of his weight and blood pressure, the hospital wants an EKG first. I could just cry - not just because of the delay, but because he had worked so hard to lose weight before the wreck. 3.5 years of recuperation, and umpteen rounds of steroids have undone all of that.

I also made him mad today, when I pointed out to him that it seemed a little funny that he is able to get up and go visit with a friend, or go to his ham radio club meetings, but he can’t get his own washcloth out of the closet or sit and visit with the kids. I love him, and I don’t want him to lay in that bed and die. And that will happen sooner rather than later at this rate.

In better news, Girl 2.0 did fine on her placement exam for her summer college class. And my dad brought dinner (fried chicken and mashed N.O.T. and coleslaw and apple pie. Yum.) The Boy diagnosed and repaired the dishwasher, and we signed his lease for the coming year (in time to lock in a lower rate - double woot.)

Also, Peach’s Home for Orphaned Plants has some lovely petunias stolen from Grandma’s house, and two very ugly concrete planters filled with even uglier ice plants from Grandmother’s. I don’t know what to do with the danged ugly things, but no one else wanted them, so here they are.

Not nice to gloat.

Yep. She takes the weirdest stuff. Last time she took a whole bunch of clothes from me and my daughter. She had borrowed some things to wear while visiting. She then packed them up and left with them.

I endorse this plan. :stuck_out_tongue:

Yay for DH work!

Peaches good luck with hubby. Keep pushing him. It’s good for him to get out of bed, even if it’s hard.

Sunny that is just weird about MIL taking things. Do you think she steals from stores?

Her’s hoping I sleep better and more than last night. Strange place and all. Hubs procedure is set for 930 in the morn but who knows. We will get home when we get home. I extended my room just in case. Being in the horsepistol ain’t cheap when away from home. I did find a target today and got a small cooler. Too tired tonight to imbibe. Just want to be home.

Feel better all sickies.

Perhaps it has to do with regarding a daughter in law a child, as most women regard their children for all their life.

Why are you talking drinking games at irk?

Who’s gloating? As I understand doggio-speak, I believe he spent last night outside in the dirt. :o

…& with that I’m off to bed.

Happy Thorsday!

It’s supposed to be another rainy day, but at least it will be warmer - up to 74 today.

I’m up too early, but I’m staying up. I can take a nap later, or not.
I had to run some stuff to the post office last night and we stopped at Sonic. Not a good choice to eat before bed.

Percy still won’t come out of hiding. He’ll let us pet him for a bit, but then he scurries away to a different hiding space. He seems to like Sah-son better than he likes me. I feel so sorry for him, he doesn’t seem happy.

SSDD

Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. Company is coming through today, so I get to work on my day off.

Nah, I don’t do camping.:stuck_out_tongue:

I slept with Mel last night, and it was pretty good. Unfortunately, Mel doesn’t do anything for **FCD **- he had a terrible night, and when I got up, he was on the recliner, poor thing. He just took a pain pill and crawled into bed. His appointment has been moved to 4 this afternoon - it started out at 1:30, so I won’t be surprised if it slips later. I just hope it works.

My inlaws are on their way - and it scares me to death. FIL was in the hospital over the past weekend for his heart, but he sees no problem with driving 800 miles. I just hope they don’t die enroute. I swear, they’re in denial about their ages and physical condition.

I need to head to work. rah. Happy Thursday. or something

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN 'Tis a very muggy 66 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 89 for the day. Feels like one of those days where we get a late afternoon tstorm. We shall see.

{{{MOOOOOOM, Butters, and Peaches}}} hope all the hubbies are doin’ better today. MOOOOOOM I know what you mean irt the in-laws. My eighty-seven year old mother who has never taken much medication has six to take now and won’t unless someone gives ‘em to her one at a time. Fortunately it’s not all six at once but twice a day one of the sibs has to make sure she takes ‘em. Speakin’ of which, I’ll be up in Ye Olde Home Towne this weekend to check up on her and sis, who is doin’ better but still not a hunnert percent herself. I have a feelin’ I will be doin’ this a lot from now on.

OK that’s all I got. I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy wants sustenance. Then, alas and alack, irk purtification must commence.

Happy Thursday Y’all!

Blurf

I made it to the office. I’ve had breakfast and I’m caffeinating. I’ve set my alarm to remind me to leave early so’s we can get **FCD **to the hospital in plenty of time for his appointment. Now I just need to slog thru the tedium of my current task. On the bright side, we’ve got a meeting this morning, so there’s that fun to look forward to! WOOHOO!!

:stuck_out_tongue:

Day three in the horsepistol. I slept good last night. Now to get this shocking of the heart over so we can go home.

I think if they do release him it will be late afternoon or most likely tomorrow.

Hugs to all that need them.

Afternoon, mumpers and a very happy Thorsday all round. It’s bright and sunny over here, not that I’ve had much chance to enjoy it because I have been in meetings for the last four hours and I’ve only got a short break before the next one at 2pm.

I did have meetings with two of my minions in the diary for today but they’ve had to be shifted to tomorrow instead because there just isn’t enough time for everything.

Greetings all. Up, washed, garbage out for pickup. Nothing to report yesterday outside of cleaning my kitchen and taking a short walk around the block in the evening (I need to start establishing some habits now).

Going to the Doctor in about an hour, need to have my vaccinations/shots updated for my trip to S. Africa…they told me to make sure my Hep A, typhus, malaria and yellow fever were updated, I’ve had all of them before but don’t know their effective dates. I’ll let the Dr. sort it out.

Then the afternoon has me visiting the Edward D. Jones office, to see what condition my retirement is in; everything I have calculated says it’s great, but the lady who works this account has come up with several good ideas in the past, so I’ll see what she says.

FCM, hope the in-laws make it in safely. I remember my dad in his 80’s, still able to drive but it scared me to ride with him. 800 miles is a damn long trip, and they’ll have to do it the other way too. Wish they could have flown and you could have met them at the airport.

A day late, but my prescription story; got put on a High Blood Pressure recently (140/100). Went to the pharmacy to pick them up, got out my wallet for whatever the co-pay would be and was told that I owed… 0.34 cents. Still have trouble believing that.

To all other MMP’ers, you and yours be (or get) well. Rain in the forecast here for the PM hours. Maybe I’ll sort a bunch of papers I’ve had sitting on the counter for 3…5…eons.

And the heart shocking is over and he has NORMAL RHYTHM. Yay. Hope it holds. Cardiologist says we can go home today but there is another doctor who has to sign off. Hubs is still groggy and BP is a little low but coming up. I imagine we will be here a few more hours

**Mmmoooommm ** Hoping your in laws arrive safely. Maybe it’s time for a Dr to tell him he can’t drive anymore. A sort trip to the grocery or doctor maybe but 800 miles is scary.
