Wow, this is moving fast. My last post was in response to Telcontar.
storyteller, whatever, man. Yes, disingenuous confused me. Thanks for clearing it up for me. Do me a favor and vote for me next day.

Uhhhh… good one?
I noticed! By the time I finish typing this, 3 people will have posted.
As I said, I’m not a power role, and while I’m not sanguine about being lynched on Day 1, I think there’s info to be had from my death. You can rule out a town name (nobody else named Sun), and I’d guess two of the people voting for me are scum. There’s a big enough spread in votes that scum can safely hide, this round.
I would question the wisdom of lynching someone whose dad is a mob boss, though. To all you scum out there, if you ever leave the island, don’t come to Korea if you value your worthless little lives!
Also, I don’t want to vote for Imaginary Fiend (that’s what you mean by voting defensively, no?) because I don’t think he’s very scummy. I think the case against him is weak sauce.
I think we can afford to wait until Day 2. Nothing is going to happen at Night so him not being here won’t hurt us and it’ll give him more time to find his way back. But if he’s not around by Day 2 we need to get him subbed.
Twelve minutes left. I hold to my vote, because of the two - Ichini and IF - I regard Ichini as somewhat more likely to be Scum.
However, the lack of movement, the lack of real activity surrounding the lead-up to this deadline - after a very active Day - gives me the impression that we may two Townies on the block, and the Scum are content to let us kill whichever of them we happen to kill. In such a case, Scum wouldn’t want to rock the boat; if something happens to make us unvote both major candidates we might settle on one of them.
Hrm.
It also appears that there are lots of people online, so the lack of activity can’t be attributed to people just not being around.
and maybe that’s what your post is trying to do. (get us to move off both of the major candidates)
Yup.
No, hell no. If we do that, we’re dumber than a big sack of hammers. That’s a recipe for whacking a Doc or a Detective.
I think that overprotecting the power roles is just about the most common mistake that players on the Dope make. Certainly they’e important, but it’s VERY rare that a power role qua power role makes or breaks a game–it’s always either a good/intuitive player with a power role, or people winning in SPITE of power roles–I can think of at least one Dope game where the vig never got a single hit right, totally boning the town, for example. Off board I’ve seen a town blocker block the doctor or cop repeatedly. I’ve seen the vanillas so convinced that they knew best that they devised elaborate investigation/confirmation plans that completely hamstrung the power roles (this, in a sense, almost happened in Sekham too).
Really, the people playing the power roles are just as smart and capable as the average you. You can suggest shit, but let 'em do their thing–and that includes speak up for or against mass claims as appropriate, etc.
Especially in a game where Mahaloth said the power roles are of relatively small consequence.
(“Yup” for Jimmy Chitwood; “No, hell no, etc” for Oredigger).
I concur on the hell no, since we’ve referenced Skrull Planet multiple times today already.
(I’ve never been more flabbergasted before, or since, than I was watching your lynch go down in that game).
I agree that switching would be bad. But I was just noticing that your posting that the scum are happy with were the lynch is headed could be scum trying to get us to switch.
FWIW : I think it is IS, Tel.
OK. Noted.
Wow. Who opened the “Let’s All post like Meeko” Juice?
Is this the same game I just posted to? ((Well, before my Telcontar related post))
Dang. I will wait till night, then HOPEFULLY catch up.
Wow.
**Previously on Lost:
Chaos reigned.
The crowd of Survivors had initially gathered around Meeko, encircling him and pointing at him, almost sure that he was not one of them. Meeko fought and explained(and annoyed many doing so), and eventually the Survivors were convinced of his innocence….at least for now.
Next, the Survivors scrambled, unsure of whom to kill and whom to trust. Ultimately, they voted and their votes were as jumbled up as their minds. Explanations were intense and plentiful, and two individuals came under the heavy fire of accusation.
“It’s Imaginary Fiend!!” some yelled.
“No, it’s Ichini Sanshigo!!” others screamed.
“It’s neither of them!!!” a few lone voices wept.
As the crowd of Survivors argued, many switched their opinions and ultimately, the Survivors approached Ichini Sanshigo, who was kicking and screaming, held him/her down and slit their throat right there on the beach, fear and pleading in Ichini’s eyes the whole time. Blood spilled out and Ichini was dead.
But who was Ichini Sanshigo really?
And Now, on Lost:
[COLOR=“Black”]You have lynched Ichini Shanshigo who was Sun-Hwa Kwon, an ordinary Survivor.
Night One has begun. Day Two will begin on Friday, June 19, at Noon Eastern. Any Night Actions must be in by then.
Discuss all you want during the Night, but don’t bother voting.

That sucks.
