On side note I’m leaving for Vegas tomorrow after work and I’m going to be out of contact until Monday morning. So don’t lynch me for not being around.
Back to the game, sorry to see you go Ichini better luck next time. Bring on the drinks, I’m thinking shots let’s start with a Red Headed Slut and then we can move on to Sex On The Beach and possibly a Buttery Nipple.
So, a few hours before the end of the day, Imaginary Fiend was the vote-leader, but in the time since then, Jimmy Chitwood, ShadowFacts, and storyteller0910 all swung their votes, with the result that Ichini, now known to be Town, died instead. It might be too obvious, but am I the only one who thinks this looks suspicious for all four of them?
No, even I think it looks bad. For my part, though, it was as simple as I said it was. IF’s claim was convincing enough for my “leaderboard” to revert to its original state, which was, none of the main candidates seem like scum, and pedescribe seems the scummiest. I didn’t know what was going to happen after that.
Much like everyone who has the flash of life before their eyes, I felt I had to claim when I did. We all know, after that, Mahaloth changed up names. I honestly saw my move to claim, then, as a last ditch effort. I have no reason to lie, and because I didn’t lie, I can understand, and agree with prevailing idea that in hindsight a mass name claim would have been best for town, if even breaking the game in town’s favor.
I feel odd, addressing issues brought forth from a player that (sadly) is no longer with us. I do not think it is scummy at all, for a town player to claim, when his life is at stake. In fact, If I could have prevented my lynch, but did not act, that would be perhaps one of the most scummy things a townie could do.
I knew I was town, and in frustration with my less than optimal play, I felt driven to claim. You might remember that I had to re-post the claim, because the first time I did it, I was obviously in a huff.
I claimed when I felt I had to. It might not have been best for how MAFIA is played, but given the setup for Lost Mafia, and the pace the game has taken, I felt it was best for Town. The entire situation could have been handled better by multiple parties, I include myself here.
A step back from the immediate drama, and I remind myself that with the first day behind us, lost a town member. I remind myself further, that this usually the norm.
We must go forward.
I can not find error with I.F. 's claim. I can’t confirm if it was the pm Mahaloth gave him, (obviously), but I am leaning towards the fact that for right now, I.F. appears to be town.
Apparently, I can tell people till I am blue in the face, that I take my name after the male raccoon from Pocahontas, and they insist I am a needy Asian girl.
I can certainly understand why Imaginary Fiend posted that, but given that Mahaloth gave the scum cover identities, it doesn’t prove anything one way or the other. It’s a completely null tell.
Meeko’s claim, coming before the aliases, is obviously much stronger. I can still think of scenarios consistent with him being Scum, but they’re a lot less plausible.
