Lost Mafia/Werewolf/Psychopath

Here is my question:

Scum had to have voted for Shadowfacts. Correct?

Is there any particular reason you’ve suddenly decided to start sowing distrust of our vigilante and his choices? **Meeko’s **a spaz, but he doesn’t strike me as stupid or crazy.

Jimmy unvoted Shadow in 1443, voted Pede in 1451, and revoted Shadow later that page.

Telcontar voted for Shadow somewhere around 1440.

Therefore, all 10 Living players voted for Shadow. Ergo, Scum cast their final votes for Shadow. QED, Amen, Selah.

I believe you quoted my reason. I believe it was perfectly clear.

Thank you ?!

Scum cast their final votes for shadow
Shadow cast his final vote for story

therefore
shadow wasn’t scum
QED

More seriously:
Yes, the scum cast their final votes for shadow. The real question is when. The scum had competing impulses to save shadow and to not be seen to save shadow. Not sure if that means the first or the last to vote for shadow are most suspicious.

I have no idea. I have no idea what he did. The problem with looking for breadcrumbs is that if you’re wrong, you’re fucked. If AllWalker knew for sure that I and Chronos were Town, he could have come out and said, “hey, guys, Chronos and story are Town.” He didn’t. He was still playing the game, and couldn’t be expected to consider his power in every post he made.

Hell, I claimed Day Three. Suppose I hadn’t and had died Night Three. You’d have all combed through my post looking for breadcrumbs and sooner or later, someone would have looked real close at some post I made where I said so-and-so seemed Scummy to me (or whatever) and decided it was my breadcrumb. But I never got any results at all.

I’m not saying to ignore Allwalker’s post - not at all. I am saying that it cannot be considered confirmation of anything. It’s a data point, same as all the other data points, and I don’t agree that we should let a piece of information that might be meaningless dominate the rest of our approach to the game.

That will make for interesting scum board reading, after scum lose the game.

So what we need is an ordered list of posts containing each vote and unvote.

I’m sure he meant it kindly.

Personally I’m as comfortable with you having that power as i would be with anyone else; it’s not like any of us have a great record this game and your guesses going forward are probably at least as good as anyone else’s.

Gotcha. I think saying we shouldn’t presume, shouldn’t consider Chronos as even probably town is a bit of a stretch, is all.

I am of the school of thought, that as “” Vote Switching “” is a tactic that Scum use often right before they win a game, a similar situation was seen here.

In Crimson, the three scum changed up their votes to lynch me at the end of the day, in quick succession.

WIFOM : I believe that scum “Did the Math” and all decided to vote off Shadow. I am willing to bet further, this came late in the day [That is, In Game] and they got over here, late to the party.
**
So, I think scum changed votes at the end here. **

Still waiting for an answer here, Story.

Uh… because you make the game more fun?

Were you expecting a more complicated answer?

Not at all, I just, wasn’t sure what you meant here.

  1. Thanks

OR

  1. I take that to mean that you moved me one or two steps closer to peekerocity.

I counted my vote list, and realized I’m one player short:

pedescribe voted for Shadow in 1426, then unvoted for him in 1427.

I could just copy-paste this from the notes I’ve been taking, but not until fairly late this evening, as they’re on my home computer and I’ll be working somewhat late today. If nobody else has done it by then, I will.

And storyteller, no offense, but AllWalker’s presumed breadcrumb is the only real evidence for your innocence, too. The name you claimed is an ambiguous one, and of course your unsuccessful investigations unfortunately don’t prove anything. We can conclude that you have some active power-role, from the fact that you knew you were blocked, but that could just as easily be a Scum power role as a Town one. I do think that the presumed breadcrumb is a good enough reason to trust you, but if we throw that out, then all bets are off.

Well, it was nice to wake up to success for a change!

I’m going to the beach for the weekend starting tomorrow morning. So I’ll be gone for most of the Night and the weekend, but nothing much seems to happen during those times anyway.

Huh. So I didn’t screw everyone over.

Well, that’s a plus.
