Question: We know that Shadow Facts was scum. But he also claimed to be protected. That means one of two things:
- The scum decided to gamble, and correctly surmised I was a paranoid doc, or
b. Someone actually tried to kill Shadow Facts.
If it is b, then who stopped the scum’s kill?
You said you did. Didn’t you protect him and thus block his action?

Everyone knows that he was protected-- You protected him. That does not mean that anyone tried to kill him, though, just that if they had, it wouldn’t have worked.
My best guess is that by pede block-tecting Shadow, pede interfered successfully with the Scum’s night kill, as that was Shadow’s night action.

Well, no, it could actually mean a LOT of things. Not just the two things you want us to look at here.
- How exactly are they gambling?!
b. And how exactly, would Shadow know this? / Why would he claim protection. How in the world do you conclude “someone tried to kill him” ?!
And, I’m not sure if we can rule out that Shadow made the entire thing up.
I’d also like to point out that USCDiver and cardinal_fang each have fewer posts than AllWalker, despite having an entire Day phase to catch up. This late in the game, lurking is anti-Town and anti-fun.
Are we talking about the night that we had no Night Kill, or the Night that Allwalker died?
Please check my memory on this:
Night 2, there was no night kill.
pedescribe has said on Night 2, he block-tected Shadow.
AllWalker died on Night 3.

I’m doing the best I can, but I am finding that when I am online (later in the evenings), there is not a lot of chatter and I find myself digesting the latest updates and forming opinions based on the input of others; my posts tend to be summaries of my thoughts over a day or two.
