LOST: Season Six 2-Hour Premier 2/2 (6.1/6.2)

I don’t think they’re good and bad per se. I think it’s that Jacob sees the good in people and Esau sees the bad in them, so they have their skewed views of the world around them.

Regarding “why not stick Juliet in the spring,” I think it only works if you’re near death. Like it’s a super concentrated version of the island’s healing powers. And I don’t Sayid “completely” died. Miles looked like he was trying to speak/listen to him and he couldn’t get anything out of him.

He was only mostly dead! And Miles was probably going through his pockets and looking for loose change…

Why was that plane completely Michael and Walt-less? Even the pre-show wrapup was Michael and Walt-less.

We spent a damn good bit of time investing ourselves in the plot of Michael and Waaaaalt. Now they are nowhere to be seen!

As a result of the visit to the temple, I wonder if Island Sayid’s body is now possessed by Jacob, in the same way that “Esau” took over Locke’s.

Locke’s body is on the sand lying by the big metal box. Sayid’s body rose from the dead.

I’m guessing that Sayid **is **dead, but is now possessed by Jacob the same way The Man in Black (when did we learn his name is Esau?) took over Locke’s body. That’s why Jacob told Hurley to bring Sayid to the Temple. He needed a new body.

Beat you by three minutes!

I’m guessing that he was trapped in “Jacob’s” shack for most of those years, hence the ash circle around it.

Was the driver in the cab that Earth-2 Claire and Earth-2 Kate met…was he the creepy puppet-master guy from Heroes?

That’s how you know time’s frakked up; Walt goes to the head a 10 year old, comes out old enough to join the Marines.

looked like it to me too.

“Esau” is still using the guise of Locke’s body. Sayid was healed in the same way Ben was, when he was shot by Sayid in 1977. I wonder what kind of effect this “healing spring” will have on Sayid.

Also, the comment about the spring not being clear, but dirty… I wonder what that might mean for Sayid. (Perhaps that’s why it took longer to heal him? A side effect from the Hydrogen bomb?)

My guess is that the spring gets its power from Jacob, and with Jacob dead the spring is losing its power. I bet there will be a lot of bad things happening to the island with Jacob dead.

Maybe Esau just thinks it’s funny. He seems to have a sort of sense of humor.

He might know that Jack+Crew are back, in which case it would be handy to stay as Locke.

Clappy-hand Guy to all of these.

Not that I mind…

I’m wondering, is the Japanese guy supposed to be the new leader since John disappeared three years ago? And who played his translator? I know I’ve seen him before.

Nice. I’ll bet there’s something to that.

And just in case it’s not clear to anyone:
Jack, Sawyer, Kate, Hurley, Miles, Jin, and Sayid are all in 2007, the same time as Sun, Ben, Locke/Esau and the rest made clear by the fireworks set off by Japanese Guy, which they Ajira gang witnessed from the beach.

Also, I wonder if in the same vein as “Esau” taking the form of Locke, if Jacob took the form of Christian Shepherd.

I don’t think so. The smoke monster has been seen all over the island. Unless the jumping through time has changed something.
