Mad-Men: 5.11 "The Other Woman" (open spoilers)

Someone above asked if Megan had brought that friend along to the office to distract the boys while she had had her quickie with Don.

I wondered if the friend might be another aspiring actress who’d deliberately nagged Megan into taking her along because she wanted a chance to “audition” for the Jaguar commercial. Megan could have unwittingly planted the idea in her head with a casual mention of the campaign, and this motivation would explain her little performance on the table a lot better than assuming she just happened to be an exhibitionist.

In this case, I doubt it. They had already lost an easy-in by taking the last Jaguar guy to see a hooker. That makes it all the more strange that they would be engaged in another flesh trade, but sex is the ultimate currency.

I think Ken was angling to push aside those terms and take his chances with the outcome. He’s the least corruptible because he sees SCDP as something to pays the bills so that he can write. We don’t see him often, and I wonder what will happen to him next season. If anyone is going to write scripts for Star Trek, it’s him.

Taking clients to see prostitutes is as common as taking them out for a drink in that time and place. They’ve done it countless times. The chewing gum guy was just a crazy anomaly.
