In case anyone was wondering, I’m still in, and the time change actually helped, since my mom was going to take me to Mass and then drop me off. Unless someone wants to drive me there and home, though, I can’t go to the after dinner festivities, since my mom is definitely not picking me up at midnight in Arlington when we live in Vienna.
However, if I can get a ride to wherever we go and home (or maybe Metro), then I’m fine, as long as my driver hasn’t been drinking.

The place that I would like to go after certainly allows children - I picked it with that in mind. However, it does have live music starting at 9pm and becomes less appropriate for small children at that time. YMMV
The weather is going to be glorious and there is a playground across the street, so the kids, both young and old, will have a chance to work off some of that melted cheese and chocolate.
PLEASE. I need all the extra cheese and chocolate I can lay my hands on. I’m gorging for two, you know.
