8-12 inches are expected in Northeast PA.
Really, I could live without this right now.

Nada in downtown DC, though we had some folks from the Gaithersburg area straggle in late to work today due to the accumulation there. A coworker’s boyfriend is getting to leave work at 3:30, though, and he works near Union Station! No fair.
About 6-7 inches so far. And the cloud cover is so deep that it knocked my satellite broadband offline until just now.
We’re looking at another 4-6 inches overnight.
Wish us luck tomorrow. And email directions!
JC, you doof. I think you posted this in the wrong thread. Email me so I can send them to the right place.
Snow last night, but it didn’t stick. Rain now. It would be cool if we had a white Dope the Halls party, though.
I posted it here and then there.
So there.
Shall I bring wine?
Cut out of work early . . . Only about 6" of snow on the ground, but it’s turning into sharp little sleet needles that cut into you weith 28 mph winds. And the second storm, the Nor’easter, is hitting late tonight/all day tomorrow: “Don’t even think of going out tomorrow,” sez the Perky Weather Girl on Channel 4.
Yeah, and she’ll be curled up with a good book.
And I will, too! We just got galleys in for an upcoming bio of the Brontes!
Just wind and rain here at the northeast corner of Southern Maryland.
As a former MAD now ensconced comfortably in the lovely south, may I just say…heeheeeeheeeeeheeeeheeheeheeee…
Of course, that laugh is coming from Tampa.
still snowing in philly. i’m thinking it is time for french toast and hot chocolate.
It snowed loads here, and it still snows…
Mighty slick walking; hope I make it through a winter without hurting my ankle.
Glad I didn’t go into the office today.
Actually, at the moment, it’s coming from San Antonio. Which I’m not loving quite as much as Tampa. But it’s still not snowing!
I kinda like the snow, Lucretia. But thanks for letting me swim in your pool two weeks ago!
We’ve got maybe two inches here. Not enough to mess things up, but enough to look real pretty.
It’s looking even worse this morning. I need food, dangit!
I’m jealous, haven’t seen snow for a couple of years. Curse this tropical paradise!
It’s good to see that normalcy has finally returned, and snowstorms are hitting the NW suburbs harder than the SE suburbs. For the first four winters after I returned to the area, we seemed to have it consistently backwards.
We got about 6" yesterday, but the Federal Gov’t did not close, so I had to shovel out the car and go in to work.
Another 3-4" last night. However, since I’m not going anywhere today, I can sit here in my jammies, drink lots of tea, watch Brideshead Revisited straight through, and appreciate how lovely the pine trees outside the windows look all covered with snow.
