FlyingCowofDoom aka FCoD is most definitely a bloke.
Or so he says.

<Snipped to get to the meat>
As drainbead has already noted, Huh?
A “trust me” stance in this game seems to have as much leg as the old “Of course I will still love you in the morning” kind of gig. If it’s your first go round, maybe. For the experienced, not so much.
Another two cents.
Danger, danger Will Robinson.
It makes too much sense and is “not in the spirit of the game” - bollux.
In Simpletown town guaranteed a win by playing by the rules and having a townie remain silent so that they were mod-killed (don’t ask, just read). At the end there was some vigorous discussion about the legitamcy of the play. The Freaking Mod said that it was ok and that taking advantage was copacetic.
Same here. We’ve already got three pro - town roles claimed. More to be coming in the sequal that is gearing up in about 24 real time hours. We can continue to cut that gangrenous leg off an inch at a time or just axe the MF all at one time. IMHO.
I’ve just got to believe that Pleo took this into consideration while designing this game. Hence the a rather than a the role descriptor in the rules as well as my PM.
Because of the above mentioned sentiment I am real concerned that there are a hell of a lot more baddies out there than would be considered “standard”.
I think we got kind of lucky on the DS stretching(sweet). Luck ain’t gonna win this one long term. Town needs to take advantage of all the rules that it has, once again IMHO. Just because the other team doesn’t have a goalie shouldn’t preclude the town team from taking a shot on goal to make it “within the spirit of the game”.
And to continue to be consistent with getting my suspicions on record my second choice tomorrow, if I am still alive, will be chosen reverse alphobetically, if you get my drift.
Simple reminder to all players with Night actions: you have until noon (PT) Monday to notify me of your actions. The Day starts with or without me officially posting it.
Is that me? Dude, if you want to FOS me, say it to my face; this cutesy sly crap doesn’t help the town. I almost missed that. (Maybe it’s somebody else, I dunno.)
And as for a role claim - let’s see how the Night plays out. I’m sure there will be a lot to talk about about who might or might not have been protected and why people who died did die, and if any powers were used - the previous role claims may act as a test case.
Yep. And for the recently departed their death does nothing for us for a couple of Days unless brewha is still alive and is, in fact, what he says he is.
No, you missed the boat. Since Like This is no longer around I have chosen zyxt to be my next target.
I zyxt through all of your posts thus far.
I didn’t think that we could FOS during the night.
And sorry I am so prickly this morning but those damn frozen 'gritas have left me ill tempered and bad mannered.
So, just to be completely clear (because I can hardly believe it), when you said…
you were lying? But now you say you actually have a good reason for that vote, but won’t reveal it. Is that right? :dubious:
On a completely different note, sorry for being absent for a while. I had a large BBQ party yesterday, and my grill died just prior, so I had to research and buy a new grill, as well as all the other shopping, marinating and prep work, so I was pretty swamped.
On the plus side, I’ve got an awesome new grill
Crap, dude. You should have called me and I could have helped.
Less leftovers and all that don’t you know. As well as getting rid of the last inch or so of the potent potables that have been hanging around for way to long.
And since it’s still afternoon in the night who’s up for a gin, vodka, triple sec, baileys, kauhlua, roses lime, sloe gin kind of combo?
Ahh… nothing like combining drinks with cream with drinks with ascorbic acid… you like your shooters curdled?
Go see Wall-E. Put a smile in your face and a song in your heart.
Cottage cheese and vodka shooters. We’ll find out quickly who the real players are.
Kid #4 saw it with the ex and loved it.
Still starting reverse alphabetically (finally spelled it correctly)but now with not so much vigor.
Well as Night 1 comes to a close and Day 2 with its many casualties arrives, here are my suggestions for what to look at.
The players who did not vote, why did you not vote and who would you have voted for?
Nanook: why did you complain about the number of votes required to lynch Darth Sensitive, but not actually vote yourself?
NBC: You have some explaining to do concerning your actions at end of Day 1.
Oredigger77: How do you think a mass role claim will help toDay?
To the two people who avoided modkill at the least moment aka **cckerberos ** and CoG888, what are your thoughts on the game so far?
I’m sure there is more, but Day 2 is going to be sooooooooo looooooooong.
Well, because stuff started happening at the end of the day, and my boss pulled me into his office from 3:15 until 4:30 or so that day…so I was unable to place a vote. I was ready to vote Darth, as I did not agree with Brewha going down, esp with his claim.
I think this is an interesting question. Somebody who’s already claimed and is concerned about voting percentages but doesn’t vote? If you’re a Witch as claimed, what would you have to worry about? If you don’t like DS as a target, pick somebody else. There’s 31 people in this game, 29 of whom are neither you nor the current lynch target.
I think there’s been a lot of talking without that much having really been said. That’s not unusual for a Day 1 from what I’ve seen but it’s a lot worse in this case because of the number of players and the extreme length of the Days (plus the ability to strategize during Nights). It’s going to make it very difficult to go back through the old posts for post analysis. I also think that it’s going to be a few Days before we can get any serious grip on what’s going on with the game because of the large number of players, the delay in revealing the role of corpses, and the number of scum factions. In the meantime there’s just too much noise.
Of course, I’m feeling a little cynical since in the last game I played in (my first), Town didn’t succeed in taking out a single scum.
I don’t know, peek, I think I’d be intimidated to grill for someone from Texas. I mean, I think I do a pretty mean bbq menu, but then I’m an east coast lefty artist, so what do I know.
Think so? Why? We’ve already got two claimed investigators in you and Nanook, so assuming at least one of you survives, I suspect all the conversation will be about the investigation “results.” (<-- scare quotes intentionally used)
For that reason, I suspect there is at least an even chance that we may have another day where there’s not enough (useful) conversation due to the inevitability of a lynch, which always annoys me to no end.
Of course, if you both get killed, well, then I think you’re right
