As for peeker’s vote switch I think I get where he’s coming from but once Pede admitted being scum I don’t think that there is any excuse to not vote for him unless there is another claim. A strong hint of scum doesn’t balance out a guarantee and like I said IF CoG888 makes it through then we need to look his direction as it is he’s looking a modkill straight in the face no reason to jump of confirmed scum.
What was interesting was that you said you were going to examine the case against pedescribe in post #806. You next post contained two paragraphs on the case saying **NAF1138 ** voted for him because **pedescribe ** was playing badly and that my case was cherry picked.
You then spent several paragraphs rehashing your case against Pollux Oil.
Re: peekercpa’s vote switcharoo – I can see someone wanting to jump off the obvious target and getting a jump on the next day’s lynch. It doesn’t serve much purpose, but I can see someone doing it. That said, be forwarned, peekercpa…if CatInASuit’s speculation of there being a bomb turns out to be correct, and one of pedescribe’s lynchers blows up, then I’ll have no problem seeing you strung up next.

There is a level of reading between the lines that you seem to not be doing. There is also a level of forcing someone to talk and explain their ideas by pushing thier buttons that you seem to have defused. Your second linked post removes a lot of other context by snipping individual lines and misses a LOT of what I was saying in my posts as well as what Dio said.

Ok I get why I missed it I was just summarizing your statements not actually conversing with you.
So let me get this straight I decide to look at the two people with the second highest vote count at the time, pollux and pede. To do this I evaluate the cases against both and determine that they are equally valid but because I included your case I’m scummy. Or is it because I was talking about Pede responding to you questions with answers, that without the benefit of foresight seemed reasonable, while Pollux hadn’t showed up in that game and there fore wasn’t answering my questions.
Well I really have no way to rebut your case against me I didn’t exactly what you said. You say that makes me scum I say I’m town trying to figure out if someone is making a better case then the one I was making so I can vote for the best idea. No way to prove it either way.
So if evaluated the case against him, in which case why did you say that you didn’t have time to reread the context, given that in these games, context is everything?
You pretty much dismissed my case as cherry picked quotes and pedescribe’s answers being acceptable, even though he had failed to answer some of the questions. That is a very poor evaluation of my case, if indeed it counts as one at all.

Sorry I ruined your plan, but I call 'em how I see 'em. And I should note that Diomedes responded to you on this issue before I did, so you got at least one “un-defused” response from him.
That’s why I called it a summary. If you believe I’ve altered your meaning by taking something out of context, I invite you to correct me, and I will apologize. But I don’t think I’ve done that.
Err, actually I completely missed your post. No idea how. The hopefully was more crossing my fingers and hoping that you make it through the night. No harm meant against you at all. Trying to catch up now after the extended weekend.
It isn’t so much that you ruined my plan, you just sort of made it impossible for me to get a real idea of what Dio was trying to say from Dio’s own mouth. At this point anything he says on the subject has to be viewed through the filter of this conversation. I am not saying you did a bad thing, I am just saying that for me now the subject (re: dio) is more or less dead. That being said, you and I can continue to go round and round if you like, but I am not sure it will do anyone any good.
Again, there is a lot of subtlety that is missed there. It’s a tone thing that get’s ham fisted in your summary.

Well, I read all of your post as well as all of NAFs and then summarized them. If I’m correct your case should be in your posts so by reading your posts I’m reading your case but like i said there were some 550 posts that you picked out of to get the ones that supported your case I’m not say that is wrong but your did not use all of pede’s post in that time frame. I also said that the quotes that you picked were very persuasive but I worried that in the mix of Pede’s other posts it didn’t seem as good. I believe that you missed that I said your case was as strong as mine against Pollux (which I have dropped because it wasn’t very strong). Sure you ended up finding scum but I may have as well.
I’ll just have to remember your rule and pointedly ignore you from now on maybe people will quite misreading me as scum .
