Mafia: Conspiracy 2: The Cabal Strikes Back! [Game Over]

OK Nanook, time to test you.
If any of the real Witches wants to come out and save my hide, I’d be much obliged, though. While Nanook was lucky (or crafty, in revealing one of his scum-kin) yesterday in guessing a scum role, he wasn’t so lucky today.

I am but a simple Warlock. It’s one of those roles that’s more disposable than most, I suppose, but it’s going to take two more days of Fake-Witches leading the lynches.
Dio, **Nanook ** did not reveal a scum role yesterday. He investigated Storyteller, remember?

And just to keep it official even though our well esteemed Mod has indicated differently.

Who did you curse each Night, and what was your reasoning?

Or, to be more clear, who did you enchant each Night/

[oog]Betcha a buck that Diomedes makes it ununanimous ;)[/oog]
How did you know.

Little sidebar discussion that the rest of us would like to know about?
Oooh. Very curious.

Well, for what it’s worth, Nanook isn’t a Witch. It will take you guys a couple days to figure that out, what with the delay in death reveals, but I am, honest injun, not a Wolf.

I suppose there’s no sense in forestalling the inevitable. Darth Sensitive wins his bet.

No dang it! Voting for yourself makes me llose !

But now that I think about it (30 seconds later :smack: ), it seems like if any of the killing roles were to be eliminated, the vig is the most likely: since the vig is the only one in the game (right?) that can kill the vampire during the night, the town would have to be incredibly lucky and either lynch the vamp or have a vig with the devil’s own luck to make and whack the vampire within the first two days of play.

So forget it- I don’t think it’s *that *likely that a night killer is dead already.
A Night killer may not be dead already, but perhaps if the Cabal did have a kill it was similar to the Witches - in other words, couldn’t we have not eliminated a killing faction but diminished it so much that it can no longer kill?

Vote Diomedes

All right, Nanook, let’s see what you got.

And from where I sit I feel like the only hetero male at a Chippendale (sp?) dance/event/whatever.

Talk about a target rich environment.

Holy crap.

You’re right. Sorry, I’m a little incensed right now. Then again, apparently, I don’t need to fact check myself when I post, because you’re always catching my goofs. :smack:

I self enchanted, because I’m a vengeful prick.

Night One, despite the fact that there were several targets running around, I’ve usually seen scum defer playing the WIFOM game and attack someone off to the side. While I’m not an amazing player at this game, I am fairly experienced, and therefore could be considered a reasonable threat.

There’s nothing quite like a unanimous vote though, is there? I doubt I’m going to make much headway against Nanook, although I’m going to try my damndest. Tell you what, if I can convince even one person not to vote for me, I’ll change my vote.

Why don’t you vote for Nanook? If he’s not a witch he must be scum, no?

He is scum. But I ain’t St. Jude. And I do enjoy the unanimous lynch.

That doesn’t make any sense to me. If you are Town, you should be fighting like hell to make a case NOT to lynch you, and a case AGAINST Nanook. You are just gonna give up? Doesn’t sound like the **Dio ** I know.

Ack…over 24 hours of no internet access…so cold…so very cold.

But, all is well and back in order. So while I’m still certainly suspicious of Omi, I’m definitely not going to turn my back on a freebie.

Dio, would you like to “pretend” you are a wolf for a bit, and give your thoughts on other scum factions?

Here’s the deal, Hockey. If I attempt to spend today working to try to stir up anti-town sentiment against Nanook, I’m just going to be bogging the town down another day in fruitless discussion. We came within a hair’s breadth of lynching Nookie on Day One for his slip-up of extra powers. That’s the case against him, because other than that, he’s been coming in as the all-knowing Witch to help us settle our confusion. Not that it’s a bad way to play the role, if he was actually a Witch, but it doesn’t give me much from Day Two to try to hang on him.

All I can do now is let my lynch become an automatic thing, almost as if Nanook had taken a night action to kill me, but allowing me an extra day to talk. I think it’d be pretty fruitless to do otherwise. I’m not giving up on the Town team, but I -am- giving up on me being alive in this game. Given that, I want to do what’s best for us.

You know, Hawkeye… why don’t I not pretend I’m a wolf. Why don’t I, instead, pretend I’m a Vampire.

A Vampire who killed brewha Night One. And a Vampire who had thought he had sent in kill orders on NAF last night, but had forgotten to. Which would be the reason why we only had one kill today: The wolves killed, and pede was my Vampire buddy, so we only had one kill.

This means that CatinaSuit will definitely pick out a wolf tonight. If he doesn’t, he’s lying. I don’t think he is, though. I think the town can now pretty safely start knocking wolves off.

This also means Nanook is lying: I’m DEFINITELY NOT A WOLF.

Good luck, my little Necro, where ever you are…

Heh, then for your sake I hope Nanook isn’t the Necromancer!

Yeah, I was a little worried about that. I don’t think so, though. It’s a really, really risky ploy for a Necro to make.
