I agree with you and disagree with HM. The only mod kills or replacements have universally been town. Except when Nanook got fried - but for strategic reasons (still sorry about that sach if you are even reading this thread).
And the really sad part, for town, would be if one of those squirrels was something really important - like say a witch or seer. Then we are potentially putting ourselves behind the proverbial 8 ball. I mean, it feels like we are doing good with a bunch of bad guys down so far but I don’t think this game is going to be set up to allow town to win while giving up free possessions to the opposing teams.
You are correct; it is not statistically valid.
We’ve had plenty of games where the dropouts were Mafia and not Town, let alone vanilla Town, and others where it was a mixture. Example : The cult of Sekham.
You simply cannot read anything into the decision to drop out. Either way.
Word. In Seekham we had a scum go totally MIA from the boards for a few months and have to be replaced. In another game (YSI maybe?) we had a member of the scum just forget that she was playing in a mafia game (HI HNC!)
For the longest time it was the common feeling that only scum and power roles sub out of games. Mod kill are different from subs, but in those Days mod killing was rare.
Oh and, hi! I think my off board game should be up and running sometime around Monday and I will stop being a non entity in this game. Sorry for the absense.

Well I am glad to see that MHaye and Naf1138 agree that personal limited experiences are as I said not statistically valid as I originally suggested.

Lately there have been more townies, I’ll give you that. You just tried to discredit MY personal observation with YOUR OWN more limited personal observation. What’s up with that?
