I’m not sure there is a reason to assume the freemason, wolf or cabal count is 3, 8 or 5. Those 16 players could be scrambled a couple of different way to still get to 31. This is still assuming that every role is only there once and where it would be equally likely that some of the lower profile roles like Scotsman could easily be a multiple with out throwing out game balance.
Of course. It is possible that almost any configuration of players is the case. mhaye’s proposed alternative - one fewer Wolf, one extra Freemason - is a possibility. But it is of interest to me to note that what would ostensibly be the most simple setup - all the roles in the game - still fits cleanly with what we already know.
See, thing is, I’m not so sure that multiple Scotsman wouldn’t throw off the game balance a bit. Every role being in the game once makes for a much easier balance, and since we’re all always anxious to overthink every situation giving us the obvious setup would be the surest way to keep us guessing.
Just saying.
Meanwhile, Oredigger, I surely hope you’ve got your thinking cap on tight here. We need you toNight.
Man, I love all these “you’re playing right into our hands” posts. I’m absolutely sure getting yourself whacked was part of the master plan all along, but we’ll muddle through somehow.

It is Pleo’s fault. He outed everyone as having a power role at the beginning.

'Course not…but when life hands you lemons, cut open a townie and squeeze the juice into his wounds.
Ok…a few things I’d like to bring up. First, Assuming all investigations by myself and MHaye are valid, we have 3 cabalists (Darth, NBC, Nanook), 3 wolves (Fluid, pede, and hal) and two undead (dotchan, Boozy) out of it.
Assuming story has the numbers close or exact, we have up to 2 cabalists, right around 5 wolves, and one more undead to go. Would it be worth targeting (or trying to) that last undead, in order to stop a night kill? Our remaining 0-2 cabalists might just have that power Nanook mentioned, which should only be a one shot deal. And with wolves, a wolf dead is great, but eliminating one now won’t help us deal with the bodies tomorrow.
The questions are first, can we really target undead? Should we, or concentrate on outing anyone else? And second, should we prioritize a specific faction still?
I think our best bet is to look at our options after the next round of investigations. In theory we’ll have two choices in which case we’ll need to decide who the bigger threat is. It is also possible we’ll only have one choice in which case it’ll end up another Day like toDay with an auto-lynch…

Well, I’m pretty certain that I won’t make it through tonight. Zombie Squid, your finest, without the brains, please! And keep them coming.

Quickly the results for Day Five Dusk are: Hal Briston is lynched. Zsofia suicided (unless someone can find the post where she voted). DiggitCamara is Wolf. Boozahol Squid, P.I. is a Vampire. Redwing is a Vigilante.
If you’re expecting a post from me containing a nugget of information, you’ll have to wait until mid-day today when I have more free time.
Dawn will come at the usual time, Friday at noon, PT

Just want to warn you guys - I’m leaving town Saturday morning. I’ll be gone for a week. I hope to have some Internet access but am not sure how much I’ll be able to get. I’ll do my best to keep up.
Due to extenuating circumstances, I’ll unmodkill Zsofia.
I’m going to claim right now in case I get targeted for death tonight, because I just got some interesting info.
I am a Freemason
Today I checked out Drain Bead and he is NOT a mason. The other people I can say are not masons are (in descending order most recent listed at the top).

Koldanar
Hockey Monkey
Roosh
Santo Rugger
Interesting huh?

Fascinating, is what it is.
So Drain Bead could be the Omega Wolf, or you could be lying scum. I’d consider the latter considerably more likely than the former. If you’re scum, this is a crazy gamble on your part; if you’re not a Freemason, someone else surely is, and surely checked out Drain Bead themselves, and will counter this claim. That’d be a big risk to take.
I will vote for Drain Bead first thing toMorrow, unless I’m dead or other evidence surfaces.
