A frazzled, exhausted human being slumps low in a chair. He has just seen the fourteenth person audition with “Part of Your World” in this day alone. He is nearly insane. He turns to the camera.
So, why would I not immediately post my PM? I needed enough suspicion from you guys so’s that I wouldn’t have to worry about being night killed.
If I had posted my PM, and everyone said hey brewha is town - and he can kill off the mostly dead deadites - yea!
Why wouldn’t the scum off me? If I cruise through the night with most of the town pissed at me, scum leave me alone.
So, here’s the deal. If we’re sure we can take out the final scum before 4 more undead deadites are created - lynch me today. I don’t want any more time wasted on discussing my towniness.
If theres a chance that another 5/5 scum will emerge, and I’m lynched, I don’t know what will happen.
And before someone blurts out that I was blocked last night and there were no night kills - I see two options.
Either our doctor protected the right guy, or since my block was loudly broadcast, the scum got smart and figured that they could get the town to lynch me today by simply not killing last night.
If it’s the first option - way to go doc.
If it’s the second, we should look at who else was generating suspicion. It’s likely scum would only sit out a kill to work for the endgame and get the suspicion off themselves.
OK so in the Buffy game Total Lost played Buffy. When she was Night Killed she didn’t die but came back as the Buffybot. She wasn’t allowed to talk strategy but could only fluff and vote. To get around this slightly she’d vote often during the Day to indicate when she found someone suspicious.
Now I can’t be 100% certain but I think her post saying she’d vote for brewha twice if she could was her way of saying he was the one she’d be blocking last Night.
So if I’m right and she did block Brewha that would explain the no NK.
You can post your pm any time you like - stop prevaricating!
For the record, although I do think brewha’s scum it’s also quite possible scum decided not to kill toNight to make sure we lynched brewha toDay. I still think we should lynch him though - we can afford to make a mistake I think.
You can use all the big and fancy words you’d like. I said I’d post my PM in the morning. Which means day 10. I’ve yet to see a day 10 thread. I’m not avoiding the truth - I was merely avoiding the possibility of a night kill. At this point I’m doubting that posting my role PM will do anything to satiate the foaming mouths that are crying for my blood. But, I’ll do it anyway. Here’s my first role PM:
After the revelation that undead deadites would be a part of this game, I got a second PM. This one outlined how I could use these “undeadites” to benefit the town. The last of these powers, I used yesterday.
I’ve apparently spat in the face and pissed in the cheerios of all that is holy in the mafia realm. Lynch me today - I really don’t care. Here’s what worries me - I don’t know what causes an undead deadite to be created. Sometimes it’s lynched deadites - sometimes it is not. Sometimes it happens as result of a NK, sometimes it doesn’t. But, worst case scenario, I’ll become an undeadite after my lynch. Tonight’s NK will become one as well. If tomorrow we don’t get the last scum, tomorrow night could end with another 5/5 undeadite scum.
I’d really rather be around to vanquish that 5/5 undeadite. But, OTOH, I’d kinda like to see Pede get the “Rapier’s Bitch” sig. So, it’s kinda a horse a piece for me. Really, though, it’s outta my hands at this point.
First, I don’t like the “oh well, go ahead and lynch me” lines. I don’t like them whenever I see them, but I especially don’t like them when they’re coupled with “Ooh, you’d better not lynch me just in case”. “Oh well, go ahead and lynch me” is what scum say when they don’t want to put up an actual defence. For example, see Millit when she had her head on the chopping block.
Secondly, the doomsayer predictions of dire consequences don’t hang together. They smack of brewha using FUD to get us second guessing. Here’s why: There are only two events in the game that have ever caused the creation of undead: lynching a scum and NKing an Alpha. Lynching town has never created undead. NKing Beta has never created an undead. It took the combined efforts of scum, SKs and town 7 Day/Night cycles to create 5/5 undead. Now we’re being threatened with it happening in two Days? There is one scum, and one Alpha left in the game. In the worst case scenario, let’s say there are two scum and one Alpha. That’s 3/5, plus the 1/5 we’ve already got. It stretches credulity to suggest that there are 4 potential undead still in the game; still more to suggest that all the dominoes will fall by tomorrow Night.
Why are you called a “Sketchy Seminary Student” if you’re the most faithful person here? Why did your PM obliquely mention Thing Fish, and ‘working as a team’, and yet not mention who he was? Why didn’t storyteller just include all the info at the beginning and make knowing about the unDeadites part of your power? If you’re so holy (which, judging by the virginal beauty, seems to indicate NK resistance), then why didn’t you post your role PM earlier? Are you really claiming unnightkillability and lynch resistance? Why on earth leave off two powers at this point? I mean really, what harm would it be to add them? Why are you acting like you don’t understand why we’re suspicious of you?
The PM hasn’t changed my mind. I’m really not happy about the lying (I can only do this when I know Town is going to be lynched!), Brewha could have done this any Day he wanted.
