See and I think lynching her isn’t a terrible idea even if she ends up town. At least we would know ToTaL lOsT (just keeping all my options open for future PMs :p) ) is town. Explain how we would be better off lynching a potential town member then lynching a scum Cookies. Keep in mind we don’t have any reason to actually trust you.

If they both come up town we will have one confirmed non-scum in TL and one potentially confirmable after your death. If Cookies comes up scum we will have a lynched scum and whatever you find on Zerial. If Zerial is scum, and Cookies comes up not that would be helpful, but there isn’t a reason to think that is more likely than Cookies being scum, and Zerial town. Plus we would still gain that info on TL.

Investigate Cookies
If they are both town then we will still have a lynched townies, but now we will have people in Cookies and Zerial that we are relying on your word for. So we would have nothing confirmed until your death, and even after no more information then we would have had otherwise. If Zerial comes up town and Cookies scum we will have wasted a kill on Zerial still have to deal with Cookies, and still have not added to our mason ranks.
There is no reason to not lynch who we are most suspicious for, and Cookies claim actually increases the advantage of lynching her, since it would potentially give us more information. You are pushing suspect logic very hard, which doesn’t mean you are scum, but then again maybe it does.
The longer into this game the more I go back to my first three suspects. Amrussell’s insistence on waiting on the most suspicious players, along with Naf’s push for a very specific town strategy as “Right”, and Cookies overly defensive play, all lead me to believe I was on the right track. I can’t force you to get of rid of any of them, but I highly suggest that none of them make the end game. And that Naf is taken out before he wants to be.
You mean because if you investigate scum, it gives you more credit? Or did you have something else in mind?
One other thing I can think of is that it would give the vigilante a nice target, since you get the result in the Night. And if Cookies turns up town while you say scum, we can lynch you the Day after right away :).
Also knowing Cookies alignment means we can go back looking at votes with Hawk’s relation card piles. I see now I left out the ignored-Hawk/Cookies-debacle’ pile. Blaster Master should be on that one, but I’ll have to look for others
Regardless whether Cookies claim is true or not: does anyone have a better idea what the purpose of Cookies role is? Just her knowing Total Lost is not scum seems a bit mundane. So like the vanilla Alpha/Beta I suspect something hidden attached, only not spelled out by Story.
The closest I could find in the wiki was that they could be lovers or siblings. Or maybe Cookies is a lynch bodyguard for Total Lost (because she knows she (?) is not Deadite)? Total Lost says she has no information about Cookies.
Just some thoughts about whether the claim makes sense (or how likely it is Cookies snipped something out), but with talking-dog-NAF it doesn’t say much.
Not intended as fishing, the reason I was thinking about it was: even if Cookies comes up town, would Story have given him false info in the PM? I doubt that is it, but just I think there might be more to it than just a birthmark which somehow tells someone is not scum.
I did some calculations Night Two, updated for the death of Hawk, Chucara and the last part of macey:
It’s now Night Three with twenty players alive. Assuming three fully alive scum left, two Night kills and leaving out the one-fifths (Hawk already said he had info he wouldn’t last forever):
Day Four: 15/3, D5: 12/3, D6: 8/3, D7: 5/3 (LyLo assuming second Night kill is town as well).
So I think Day Seven is too late if we want to confirm NAF, unless we find and kill scum before then. It also gets delayed if the we get less Night kills, otherwise I think Night Five by vigilante or Day Six lynch to kill is best. Night Six the latest if vigilante is still alive, for an extra investigation.
Further to that point, Hawk is sorta right. I think that Zeriel/Cookies as lynch candidates is a bad choice, but there is a risk if we don’t lynch Cookies. I am not totally blind to that. But the risk isn’t any more significant than if we did lynch her. The reason I say this is

Read it twice. We are talking about lynching her why again? Because Total Lost’s name, which would seem to have never been capitalized any time Story wrote it, wasn’t capitalized in the PM post that she quoted?
REALLY? When there are other plenty good targets out there. I think I made a fairly solid case for MHaye a little ways up. Did anyone other than MHaye bother to look at it?
I think that amrussel has been showing some sketchy behavior, is anyone talking about him? How about Hockey Monkey? Did anyone actually bother to look at the people who initially reacted violently to my claim?
Story: Did you put anything untrue in a PM? Would you have any objection to someone making up a false PM and posting it in here?

If she is scum, I will uncover it. You then have me confirmed. This is good yes? If she isn’t scum and you lynch her anyway it is a wagon built by a mason who is acting uncharacteristically stupid and the person who gets confirmed as town by her death. We will be back at square one if she is town. So that is a net loss. If the case against her had real merrit I might not be opposed, but if she is scum and you lynch her you still don’t gain anything other than one more scum down and the scum get another Night to entrench their hiding places and we gain less then if we wait one Day, ONE DAY, for me to investigate her.

BUT - I’m feeling very suspicious of Cookie because I can’t see any reason for her to get that info on me. And I can see you have a plan (and if I disregard my love for you) and I might be able to trust you… but (a big BUT) with you defending Cookie and working so hard for a no-lynch of her, I’m really not sure what’s going on right now.
Why no vote from you then if you got a solid case? And when I did look at it and said what I thought scummy about MHaye (that his summarizing the case against Chucara I didn’t find too scummy, but his votes right before Dusk are convenient as scum) you found that scummy. But I’ll look again if it makes you happy :dubious:.

And the Total Lost confusion comes from my bad English, I was trying to clarify this sentence:
