5 of those 9 are scum. I think people should check out any or all of them, according to their own preferences. Limiting to those who claimed vanilla is reasonable, as that is a smaller pool which definitely contains scum.
Oh, and I still think the Patsy should claim. The revenge kill if lynched is not worth it, as it still results in a definite town death. Sure, the revenge kill does reduce the unknown pool a bit quicker, but so does simply claiming. You are more useful as a confirmed town, and it also means there is one fewer player to investigate.
Sinjin’s power lets him protect somebody for a full day/night cycle, but he said he already used it. We also never got a notification.
So, either sinjin lied about not using his power, or there’s another cultist out there with a weaker version which only lasts for the Day and broadcasts its use.
While I’m waiting on sinjin’s response, I’m going to
vote Koldanar
If there’s another cultist out there, it’s time to take out Koldanar.
Do you think I’m scum? Or is this still over your imagined tell that my power section was to ‘fluffy’?
A vote for me is an anti-town action, at this point. You’ve been harping about how we have our scum hiding in the VT pool we have at this point - we only have one unclaimed town power role out there at this point. You have 9 (I think? let me re-check that - yep, 9) people either claiming VT, or not saying anything. And yet you jump over and vote for me.
There are no town powers which can protect a player in the manner that NAF just posted. So there are only three possibilities here.
Sinjin lied about using his power.
There is another cultist, yet unrevealed, who used a power.
There is a 3rd party, yet unknown, who decided to take a pro-town action.
If it’s #1, then that settles everything nicely and I’ll remove the vote (though we will have to hear from sinjin why he lied).
If it’s not #1, then it’s either #2 or #3. The latter cannot be proven or disproven, so we have to look at the former.
If there’s an unrevealed cultist still in the game, then either you or sinjin are scum. You are the claimed cultist whose power doesn’t match up. You are the claimed cultist who has drawn suspicion even from your fellow cultists.

The even weirder thing is that the **MHaye ** protection is announced. There has been no other such announcement in the game for 10 days. Not only is this power unknown… it is an unknown power that has been hiding for a long time. If it is **Sinjin ** who lied about using his power, I still don’t see why the protection would be announced. Curious.
I think the rules said that there would be things that were hidden from players. It’s possible that whoever used that power did not know it would be announced. It might’ve been a failsafe for revealing the cult.
We’ll have a better direction to speculate towards once sinjin checks in and tells us whether or not he was lying before.
Of course I lied about using the protect power, so I could use it before I got killed. I attempted to use it a couple of times before but was always late, stupid time zone changes and lotso travel. I can copy those mod messages if you want.
We got the message, he was protected. There should be a message saying he can’t be Day killed toDay. Thanks!

I am assuming there will be another message saying he can’t be night killed toNight.
Out of curiosity, why did you ask whether there would be an announcement? That’s not a normal expectation for protective powers and your claim doesn’t say anything about that.
It seems mostly moot now, but did you mean to only say he’s protected toDay, or did you mean to say he’s protected for the entire cycle per sinjin’s claim?
I’m confused as to what you think I knew. The first two Luthas who claimed had numbers (first/second deacon) associated with their claim. Koldanar didn’t. So Koldanar either successfully guessed/knew the rest of the Lutha did not have a number associated with them (and weren’t deacons and had different powers…) or he was a legitimate Lutha. I found the former unlikely, so I believed Lutha’s claim once further Lutha revealed themselves and were also different then the original pair.
