You aren’t thinking this out. If you wait til LYLO to lynch the mafia then you have to lynch the mafia every Day, unless the wolves are all gone at that point, then when they are equal we get the luxury of not having to kill one particular faction, but just once. Then we have to lynch the leading faction again. Suggesting that we don’t need to worry about this until lylo is saying we shouldnt worry about it until it’s too late.

Oh and just because the people voting for Prof P were wrong doesn’t eliminate the fact that some of us were trying to discern mafia and wolf. And you seem awfully eager to point out how wrong we were about prof’s lynch for someone that was flip-flopping on him for the past few Days.

My point is that worst case scenario is no dead mafia in 5 cycles. That means no vig or wolf kills or serial killer kills of mafia in the cycles. Thats Day/Night 10. It’s only Day/Night 5. So in short, I still think we have plenty of time before we need to sweat it. Until then, find a scum, kill a scum.
Holster that there patronizing town, cowboy. I understand now where you were coming from, but if you look at your post objectively it’s pretty obvious why it looked like a slip. It’s not my malfunction that I didn’t understand your shorthand math.
I already said that I think you’re pretty townie - that doesn’t give you a free pass. If you’re unclear about something I’m going to call you on it and ask for an explanation. If you get hostile and defensive, I’m going to wonder why.
As for your overall point, I’ll just say this:
A scenario where we have to choose between a suspected mafia and a suspected wolf is a really great town scenario for town. If that happens, I agree that we would want to lynch whomever has the greater number of remaining players. That seems almost like a tautology.
I also don’t foresee it happening any time soon. We’ve only had a single successful lynch period - and that was by the skin of our teeth. A choice between two would be an embarrassment of riches.
It’s less likely that I’ll go back and add unvotes to the summary. For one, they’re going to be a substantial effort. Second, I think the votes by subject (as opposed to voter) provide more information in that regard. Your mileage may vary and if you’d like to make the effort, I encourage you to use my post as a starting point. If you have a better format, I would adopt it as well.
For the record, I think that vote records are quite useful and grow more useful as the game progresses. Unvotes, too.
They’re a real bear to compile from scratch, though, and I wouldn’t expect anybody to slog through the 5k+ posts so far to compile it a detailed vote/unvote list starting now.
But I would encourage you to at least keep updating it, if you’re so inclined. Data is always good. What seems useless now might catch us a scum as information is filled in later.
I’m sorry you’re having health issues. I’m 41 as well and i have a cardiologist too. It sucks, but hopefully the doctor will make you feel better about things- mine did on my most recent visit. (A lot of out of game stuff, but the first one years ago told me I’d need a new valve by 50- a couple of months ago i was told everything is looking pretty good and i may not need surgery until I’m much much older - or maybe ever)
