Cookies, do you have a switch? I’m sure you won’t tell me, and wI’ll probably just taunt me for asking, but I felt it needed to be asked.
I like all the colors.
As for switches, let’s just say that Batman had no resistance from me, except maybe Night 1, because a) big red buttons and I wasn’t sure what it did and b) it would be my luck to get killed while holding the (seemingly randomly assigned, at least across win conditions) method of my own salvation. Of course my luck still showed up and got me spotted on Day 1 instead. I knew it was risky to target Septimus but my basic strategy was to fascilitate as much death of others as possible at any and all times.
Am I correct in saying that the (Non-hostile) showed up in their reported alignment but not in any death reveals? Cookies reveal should be interesting here as a datapoint.
I read this part while imagining you licking you chops, Dahmer style.
But thanks for the info re:switch.
That is correct.
So your theory is not correct
I admit there are probably some flaws, but overall, sorta correct.
What would you conclude about LUTHA if Cookies reveal shows:
a) hostile
b) non-hostile
c) neither

What would you conclude about LUTHA if Cookies reveal shows:
a) hostile
b) non-hostile
c) neither
I doubt if it will say either a or b. But I hope it says lutha or other-than-lutha.
If it says lutha, I’m ok with a the final soluthasion.

Did sachertorte mention having a switch? That would fit my theory that each team holds a switch for their team’s powers and 3rd party having the other switch.
Your theory would be wrong. Sorry.

Which would make cap klutz and kameleon either scum or 3rd party.
Because I’m Town and think it’s pretty likely the Captain is as well.
My theory of switches runs more along the lines that, in most cases, players do not hold switches for their own team. But it’s just a theory too - I just know yours is wrong.
And I’ll:
Vote Cookies
Just in case I don’t make it back before EoD.

NETA: I’m betting that Cookies IS Lutha affiliated. And if not, killing Lutha is NOT part of her wincon. Crys and sachertorte woulda been long gone if so.
We know there’s a cult, why would they have a killer? What if she was lynched or killed D1, would they be doomed? Even if they have a crazy wincon, it can’t depend on Cookies killing people.

Do keep in mind who would be most keen on lynching the SK? If we lynch the SK then we absolutely can’t be lynching Scum. Those who seem overly sensitive about suggestions of not lynching her might warrant a little question mark.
This works both ways. If Cookies distracts everyone from scum hunting for a Day, sure, scum are happy that they’re not at risk, but a SK is usually bad for Town - both by being more likely to kill Town than scum, as well as having more deaths per cycle, accelerates the game. So scum have reason to keep her alive, as well as get her lynched…:

Oh Geez, it’s a PITA to go through stuff on my phone - On a pc now so I can review.
Chronos -> Cookies (No result, of course)
Enderw24 -> snfaulker (no result, again)
TexCat -> Johnny B.
What kind of result were you expecting?
Ender investigated ToeJam D3, and got non-wolf, surely this means snfaulkner is non-wolf? Isn’t that a pretty good result or have I missed where you declared that?

How’s this for a reduced risk SK lynch: only a few (3? is that enough for people to be comfortable?) people vote for her. There’s no threshold to secure the first lynch, so even a single voter (or two to prevent Cookies from creating a tie) could secure the lynch while putting few at risk at a retaliation kill.
And nobody else votes to reduce risk of scummy shenanigans.
I welcome scummy shenanigans, although I don’t foresee any in the case of lynching Cookies, but if scum want to pop in at the last minute and lynch someone else, great! We’re not near lylo and have time to react.

Third off, vote analysis has been making me crazy–it’s just too easy for scum to hide in the grind of hunting their opposing numbers. As a result I feel completely useless at sniffing out bad behavior.
Hmm. I can suggest suicide-by-mod, just stay quiet for a cycle. Or else you could, you know, play the game- look at motivation, inconsistent arguments, hollow votes, and so on. I can’t believe your entire toolkit for scum hunting is based on vote records!

Cookies is the obvious lynch leader. Few days left in the Day.
Thanks mods, you make it seem so easy!

Hi all - coming back after a very busy week, and unpacking all the claims and results has been very interesting, if confusing. I’ll likely have to read it over again tomorrow / weekend for things to sink in.
I don’t see much reason to buy into the ‘bomb’ idea for the SK - it wouldn’t really be good game design for something to come along and wipe out a large chunk of the remaining players like that. So, I think schemes to mitigate the effects of a bomb are not that useful.
I will join the crowd and
Vote ComeToTheDarkSideWeHaveCookies
I can see why some feel like this vote is too easy - we’ve had a few cases where we had an ‘easy’ lynch train that turned out to be wrong - like Inner yesterDay.That’s something I want to start to investigate when I get some time - the days where we lynched a townie with a large chunk of the voters, and mainly uncontested - who started up those cases? In this game, it seems like a good scum tactic would be to build a plausible case against anyone not on their scum team, and let others jump on board agreeing with it - I know I’ve been motivated by the cases others put together, if I can find something plausible in it.
What flavor of non-town are you? This is a shitty smudgy post, how much effort would it take to look up a couple of Days? D1 was contested 17-15, D2 was 16-14, D3 was 17-14, D4 was double lynch 14-14, D5 was Prof P by hawkeyeop 15-3, D6 was 7-4. So you’re suggest Hawkeyeop is scum, why not just say so?

I have thrown the switch every night. I don’t know who, or what, has altered it on the nights she has made kills.
Are we sure she’s Gladys?
