I agree with your first paragraph. I feel the same way. I stated (in a prior response to Paul) that after Idle’s outburst today, I now think he should be modkilled for the integrity of the game. (I think his conduct is unacceptable and is ruining the day.)
I was against modkill and preferred lynch before his outburst because we just lost a town player through modkill. That’s irrelevant to you, Sachertorte, as a third party. I’m town and it’s not irrelevant to me.
I don’t know if he’s going to play the game or not. He did post a few posts with actual leans in between the outbursts, so maybe he’s trying.
I do think he will continue to post tomorrow out of sheer orneriness now.
The mods came out pretty strongly against mod kill, so yes, I do think they’d countenance it.
I still don’t know why you’re making an issue of this with me. I have no control over the situation. And I don’t think the mods are asking for a vote.
In case I’m wrong (and really to end this discussion because I’m almost to the point of wanting to give up on this game if this is what it’s going to be):
[Color=Green]Mods, with all due respect (you’re doing a tremendous job with a beast of a game), I believe Idle was sufficiently disruptive and abusive to be modkilled from the game.[/Green]
If you’re trying to argue with me that I should take my vote off of him so that he’ll be modkilled, I’m not going to do that. I think he needs to go and I don’t think the mods are going to do it.
I believe Prof P is town. I believe Toe Jam’s claim.
I would also be willing to vote Boozahol Squid or Ender.
If either of those lynches gain traction from players I trust, I’ll go there.
For now my vote stays.

In the first one I am talking about people not realizing that the vig is neutered and wouldn’t be killing any cultists. This pertains to after Brewha was revealed to be town.
In the second one, Sachertorte is under the impression that I had made a post pondering if the Brewha voters realized what was at stake if Brewha was telling the truth. Which pertains to D2 and people voting for Brewha before the end of Day.
In the third one I deny making any posts about people who voted for Brewha not realizing what was at risk. I also admit to leaving my vote on Brewha in spite of what was at risk.
How did you somehow twist that around into me lying?
Maybe you should take SNF’s advice and run this kind of thing by your scum mates before posting it. I can’t see how you could have honestly thought that those posts result in me lying. I’m left feeling it was disingenuous and meant to make others suspicious.
I was under the mistaken belief that she hadn’t revealed who her switch targets. However, since she has a scum-targetting switch, one of the switches is (I believe) held by scum, the other by an opposing party. But we have at least 3 parties and by definition someone stepping up with the other switch is very unlikely.
A few hours ago I really lost my shit. I’ve already sent the mods a PM and apologized. I think I owe everyone else an apology too. Sorry guys. I feel my behavior made a tough situation even less fun. I’ve decided to proceed as I normally would but try not to get sucked into whatever crazy game Idle is playing. I’ve stated my position… I don’t wish to address it or anything regarding Idle further.
Hey, Plum! Check the Spoiler for the D2 vote record.
Okay, starting off…
Post 538, Chronos declares brewha to be a liar. He confesses to the fact later, and this is where the votes start to pile on: brewha for lying, Crys for claiming 3P, and ToeJam for the troubles he’s had since D1. Most people voting don’t make any case at all, or just echoes the above.

Ideally? I would like for one of them to die, whether by lynch or UBatmanning or whatever, just to see what the mods reveal about them. An investigation wouldn’t do much help, as far as I can tell, since the result would simply be “Third Party” (best case scenario).
Now that I think about it… What if wolves or scum had decided to “declare” themselves as third party? It would be risky, but might deter the opposing faction from using their actions against them. Could that work?
This quote pings me so strongly because it lists supposed townie folk. I never have understood why anyone would actually trust anyone else implicitly and I constantly look for players who declare someone else to be townsfolk.
And the switch she has is for the Bodyguard. So, if we assume she is a Wolf, she could hope for some townie protection during the Night, which actually might have happened due to our Wizard’s haste and perhaps even some collateral damage to said protective role via the Hitman. And even if the Consiglere dispatched someone to see if Crys was visited during the Night, that might actually result in a positive result for the Wolves (death of a protective role by the Mafia).
“other than the fact that I requested it earlier” IS a pretty good reason to be modkilled. You lack of posting put you on the eligible-for-mod-kill list. You took yourself off this list by posting, of all things, a request to be mod killed.
Then a player asked that this request be taken up (502) and a mod stated that he was indeed prepared to modkill (523).
Then Idle Thoughts changes his mind (526), “just to piss you off”.
Idle, if you are town, WHY do you want to piss us off? How is that in any way helpful? If you truly are town, it would have been best to allow the modkill. Instead you are all but forcing us to lynch you.
The mods have confirmed that a modkill is not on the cards, so
