In post 833, I gave a very good reason for feeling doubly frustrated: 1. A collection of quotes showing that pretty much everyone, at the time, was voting for me not for actual things that have happened in THIS game, but for meta reasons…and 2. Having the very thing happen to show why meta game reasons are bad…because they can be wrong.
But nobody wants to listen or cares to listen.
That’s extremely, extremely, EXTREMELY frustrating.
And so yeah, I got defensive at it. And frustrated. And I melted down a bit. And tried to defend myself any way I could…even though it’s pretty much DAMN NEAR IMPOSSIBLE TO DEFEND THINGS WHEN PEOPLE ARE VOTING FOR ME FOR THINGS I DIDN’T EVEN DO IN THIS GAME…
…OH…OTHER than, when I got frustrated at it, with good reason, voting for me for being hostile and annoying. And then I get called names…and then I get told I’m anti town…and then
Well fuck it. I’m done. I’m so frustrated now that I’m frustrated-out. You all win. This is my last game ever. I really tried to make up for missing most of the last two Days. I thought post 833 actually was well written and made good points. It was a full hearted attempt at showing that I AM trying to be serious and contribute and not be “annoying” and defend as well as I possibly could against “meta reasons”, but it’s obvious people are still gonna vote for me anyway, if only to spite me.
Even NAF, in my last PM to him telling him how frustrated I’m getting with this game, said he thought Town was acting foolish and bad.
Town, you deserve to lose.

It didn’t mean I was scum. Seriously? Meta reasoning “He must be scum because he hates playing as scum so he must have become inactive for being it?”…LAMEST REASONS EVER.

I can’t vote for everyone I find scummy, sadly. I stayed away from Idle for not participating. I did not find that alignment indicative. But when he said the number of scum was probably between 5-7, he immediately looked scummy to me. I could easily imagine him knowing that there were 7 members on his scum team, but trying to downplay it. How did he pull those numbers out of the air?
This is seriously frustrating to me, too. You throw a tantrum because town is being “foolish and bad.” several tantrums in fact. You didn’t read the rules, you didn’t read the roles, you didn’t even read your own win condition in your role pm. We are all supposed to learn your meta, but not too much, because meta is a good reason to not vote you , but not a good reason to vote you. This both happens most every game and almost never. You get hostile enough to affect the fun of other players, but that’s not really hostile at all for you. So your meltdown means less fun for everyone, including you.
One never knows with Angel. I’m leaning Town on her and on you and Biotop and SNF and Paul and LightFoot. I never expect to be off the hook from you.
I was on ToeJam. I still don’t buy his claim, but I think it’s much more likely to resolve itself than Pleonast.
It would’ve been even more fun in Precambrianmollusc had stayed in the game. Sorry for the scum behavior; I understand the vote. But I am Town.

Less than 200 minutes to go. I see Idle’s starting off the shenanigans by asking for a very late in the Day ModKill.
I didn’t click first time, suspecting a youtube video or similar, but Idle actually posted a screenshot of a vanilla town role PM. I don’t think it breaks any rules, or would be cause for a modkill. It sucks he feels this way though.

I don’t really know how to play when someone is being so deliberately and purposefully distracting.
It’s like watching a play and suddenly someone whips out a knife and everything get chaotic and too real and you suddenly don’t know if it’s part of the plot or OMIGOD HE ACTUALLY HAS A KNIFE.
I doubt that Idle gets modkilled, so I wouldn’t change your vote based on that. It would be too disruptive with 3 hours left in the day.
Is posting a screenshot of your pm against the rules and grounds for a modkill?

Sorry, missed that. That is definitely against the spirit of the game, if not the rules. Still I don’t think we have time to fairly choose an alternate contender, but I’ll leave it to the mods to advise before taking any action.
