Yes, potatoes. I forget which game exactly, but Angel should remember. She got a potato from the Mod (I think it was Mahaloth), and when she sent it to another player it had a deleterious effect on that player (I don’t recall just what). I do remember the potato element distinctly.

Jsgoddess also has posts casting suspicion on Pleo, which makes me think Thing Fish’s suspicion on Pleo was not a lone wolf situation. It might have been a coordinated strategy to take him down for some reason. This means that other wolves would have also tried to cast suspicion on Pleo. It’s unlikely that Thing Fish and Jsgoddess were the only wolves to go after Pleo. Following this logic I’ll probably be voting for someone off this list on Day Four.
I remember. The potato was the tiebreaker. Unfortunately (for me, I was scum) I sent it to the opposite of whoever I needed to send it to. I think I sent it to Dante and he won as third party?

It was Hotel of Heroes 3, I was scum, I had fake-claimed vig and successfully gotten everyone to lynch the real vig and then you all knew I was scum. I tried to blame that on Mahaloth (he was the mod) with his permission. And then I told you all about the potato, and everyone thought I was making it up. I didn’t know what it was for though.

I found it over on Giraffe, in Mahaloth’s celebrated Hall of Heroes 2 game. It was pretty much what Angel just said.
If he used potatoes once, Mahaloth may well be using empowered potatoes again, though perhaps in a more deadly manner than a tie-breaker.
I think it’s fair to ask questions in a mafia-game.
Having a hard time keeping up with the game, I find it helpful to ask people when I am uncertain what they said or where it was said.
I don’t think I have failed to take a stance. I find things weird and lots in this game rather bizarre but have tried to be vocal in my points of views.

Prof. Pepperwinkle was a recurring character in the later seasons of the 1950’s TV series The Adventures of Superman. His character was an older, benign, eccentric inventor whose creations always worked but were usually taken by bad guys and put to criminal ends. These included teleportation over telephone lines, anti-memory vapor, a raygun that caused people to think the world had turned upside down, and a kryptonite-powered robot.
As I was trying to figure out where DiggitCamara commented on all of this. And I failed again. It’s almost midnight in Denmark, so I’ll let it rest for now.

Well. I’m against absolutes- I’d say you should still consider me fairly and judge me. But yeah- I’m pleased to see two Scum Down. Though still worried about Mafia. I’d like to see a dead Hitman honestly. But still.
I will say Thingfish was on my radar N2 though, I know it’s PIS now, but back then- he came at me pretty annoyingly, and as soon as I called him out on his “shitty” track record on D2 though via my brief look through of his “lurking in plain sight”, he got real quite and backed down from me. That’s the sort of thing I’d expect from Scummy players, and what I meant when I said D3 that players who are seemingly now “pro-me” I still didn’t trust.
For what it’s worth, I’m caught up- honestly, at the end of the Day, I probably would have voted for Idle Thoughts too. Professor P would still have my suspicion, but Idle’s noise and returning to protest the Meta stuff (And then if I saw the screen shotting, it’s just bad form). I woulda voted for him for that.
Anyways. Anyone need any protecting tonight? It’s the only way I think to avoid the Hitman kills- to target not myself. I don’t think the wolves are going to take a shot at me tonight, they need to find Mafia and fast, as they’re down 2 to the Mafia.

The origin of my SN is originally my name (Ro0sh) was created in college, before I was going down a career path where some anonymity might be good. So would later switch it (and why a lot of Mafia players from 10 years ago know me as such and why I sign my posts “-R”.
ToeJam however comes from the video game: “Toejam and Earl” - one of my top 5 Games of all time (From the Sega Genesis). In college, I chose my roommate as he expressed a preference for playing Earl in video games, and I noted I played ToeJam. He was also the one who introduced me to the Straight dope (he’s not a member, but only used to read the regular Qs by Cecil, but I got into the message boards).
