Mafia Reunion - Day Three

I ask if anyone wants to argue that scum aren’t interested in cross-killing. You say yes. That tells me that your stance is going to be that the double wolf kills were not intended as wolf kills. That you feel that scum would be aiming for town but okay with hitting opposing scum. If that’s the case, then I conclude you think the double wolf death is a coincidence… what other explanation is there? And following that logic also means that TF getting killed means the mafia thought he was town. That is who scum are targeting right? Did you say these things, no… but following the logic you presented leads me to these conclusions. … it’s easy to plant the seed without showing what fruit grows from it.

I am missing your thought process… what do you believe is the explanation for two wolf daykills?

**I have used “potatoes” from time to time, but this was not one of those kinds. **

Nine years ago? Was this the last game you played? If so, we both retired at around the same time and this is our comeback game.

Reading over the roles (again!) I just don’t see how the Mafia could be responsible for both wolf deaths. So whether ThingFish or jsgoddess was the DayKill, I don’t see how the other was targeted by Mafia.

Thank you very much for that clarification.

No, it’s a joke about Google Docs. Those are the names it gives to anonymous users. Right after day ended, there were a bunch of people looking through the role document - no doubt trying to find hints about the double kill.

I think my last one was The Gastard Arena on Idle’s board ending Sept of 2008.

One of the first “adult” books I read as a child was The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams. “Hoopy” and “Frood” are terms (both nouns) mentioned in Chapter 3 of that book.

Well, it probably means you aren’t a wolf. I mean, I might even try to mitigate that via the whole “scum sometimes actively try to separate themselves” thing, but the fact that she snuggles a fellow wolf while indicting you either meant she was working some long con here with snuggling one wolf while distancing another, or you’re honestly not on her team. So yeah, I’m fine putting you down in the “not wolf” column.

But you still could be Mafia.

Really? Why?

I’m at least a pan galactic gargle blaster in and about to move on to that old janx spirit, so I feel like this is an under explanation.
Hoopy means really together guy. Frood means really amazingly together guy. So to use them in a phrase you might say:

You sass that Hoopy, NAF1138? He’s one Frood who really knows where his towel is.

Where sass means to know, meet, or have sex with.
:singing : oh don’t give me no more of that old janx spirit…
A free ad in my next vote count to the first person who can correctly explain my name.

Paulwhoisaghost is a reference to the Web comic “Pictures for Sad Children”. In the comic, Paul dies before the first panel and is a ghost who wears a sheet because that’s what ghosts do. It follows his tragic tale and a few others through the series. I adopted the name as a way of spreading knowledge of the Web comic. I keep using it so that people in the mafia world know who they are playing with. The Web comic has closed up shop due to apparent lack of support.

I saw it on a t shirt that fit very nicely across the very lovely chest of a very lovely young queer with whom I worked who happened to be shagging another young queer that I had previously shagged because: queers and StarWars.

S. Nate Faulkner is my name…want my ssn too?

Your initials plus 1138 from THX 1138?

Yes, do stick with it - DS9 is my favourite Star Trek series. Garick is such an awesome character - as is Gul Dukat. Some of the Cardassians are really well fleshed out in the series.

For those who remember and cherish our dear peekercpa, here was his telling of his name.

Eeps and peeps :frowning:

Seriously? I was right about Thing Fish being scummy and that makes me suspicious?

I’m sorry to see Idle go in a game he initiated as a reunion, but I think it’s understandable why it happened. Sorry I didn’t believe you.

I really felt there was something (dog)fishy about Thing Fish - and yes, mostly for his crap reasons for voting for me.

Oops, I meant to add my previous message to this one but I somehow opened 2 tabs with the game and posted in the other, forgetting about this one. Oh well, doesn’t change what I wanted to say.

Because he wasn’t active in thread during N1. He didn’t post for the last half of D1, despite being in the running for lynch. He didn’t post N1. He didn’t post until late D2 after a mod poke.

If he is the doctor, I believe he self-protected, but I don’t believe that he is the doctor because his story doesn’t fit the activity we saw.

(On preview, I realize that you may be referring to the part where I call it horrible town play. I think it’s horrible play not because of the self protect - that makes some sense - but because he didn’t even drop in to note “I’m busy” look at the lynch leaders, or anything to play the game.)

Is the NAF part significant beyond initials? I’m confident 1138 is a reference to THX 1138, George Lucas’s original full length film. In the movie, the character’s names are 3 letters followed by a four digits number. The main character is THX 1138.

If the NAF part has significance beyond fulfilling the format, I don’t know.
