Ok, I just want to know whom to focus on. I am in Montreal fixing an office so I am tad bit busy and would rather use my hotel time the most effectively.
I will have a name in blue by Midnight EDT. I really hope zuma has spoken by then. However I will have a little bit of time Tuesday evening as well. I will be following along but perhaps not speaking as much.
On preview: What was the real time difference between the 2 monk claims?
As strongly as I’ve thought Hockey Monkey was recruited, I’m now thinking it may have been MHaye. If that’s the case, we’re pretty much screwed if we kill Idle today and he turns up to be a Monk. Sure, we’ll get 3 scum, but where does that leave us? Is there any possible way to tell if MHaye has been recruited?
sach says we should play to win, not play not to lose. If this is the case, I’m thinking it would be better to catch 3 scum than 2.
Unvote Idle Thoughts, I need to think harder about toDay’s vote, it’s an important one.
If we assume there were 6 Cultists at the start of the game, we can lose the game tonight.
Right now, there are 14 players left, or 5 Cult, 9 Town. If they managed to recruit already, it’s 6 Cult, 8 Town. If this is the case and we kill a townie toDay, we lose.
I don’t know! That’s just the thing. WHY do you think, even before all of these claims toDay, I asked him “You okay, man? What are you seeing with/about MHaye?”
Given that without zuma posting this discussion could go on for a while, I would like to repeat my call for everyone to work out who else could be a scum.
If we can come to a consensus on them and we get it right, it might help sort out the current arguments.
As **FCoD ** says though “No Pressure”
If your numbers are right and you vote for me and I die toDay, then we lose.
But just think about THIS: If your numbers are right and, IF I WERE scum I could be the Avatar, then I’m taking someone out with me ANYWAY when I go. So either way, town would be down one more. : /
Thus your logic is flawed some.
Best thing I THINK we should do (course, I’m biased cause I KNOW what I am–but I’m trying to think best for town) is to dunk Sach. You’ll all see he’s scum obviously, but let’s play by the notion you don’t know this or think he might come up Monk. So you dunk him and, IF BY SOME MIRACULOUS CHANCE she does come up Monk, then MHaye can investage me toNight to see if I’m the Avatar or not.
Yes, no? Does that not work out pretty well?
I know it relies on you dunking him and POSSIBLY losing a Monk/town also, but trust me, that is NOT the case. I know it. And soon you will too. I just hope it’s not too late by then.
If the game started with 6 cultists and a recruitment we were fucked from the start.
The recruit power is VERY powerful. If BlaM did any thinking about it at all I would guess he didn’t start the game with more than 4 scum plus a recruit.
Which me wonder. They make a gambit like this? It seems dumb right? Unless they are looking to protect the profit. Who will gain the most townie cred when we make this dunk? Who will become least likely to be suspected of being the profit.
Right now FCoD, you seem to be waffeling a lot.
Just saying.
I don’t know if my vote for sach is a good one or not. But Catina and FCoD’s logic seemed sound to me so I am going to stick with it.
I’m not waffling a lot, I waffled a little. I changed my mind about Idle Thoughts. That’s all. Right now, I’m waiting to hear from zuma. There’s not much else we can do until then.
That’s crazy and clearly scum motivated.
Why on earth would we waste MHaye’s investigation on you. We already know you are scum. Those that don’t will know you are scum after I die. How does investigating Idle Thoughts after all this help the town? It doesn’t. Period.
Oh, and I’m a guy.
Make your own choice! Chalking your decision up to what Cat and FCOD say looks very scummy to me. When everyone learns that I’m a monk, what are you going to say? Are you going to take responsibility for your vote, or are you going to deflect and hide behind CatinaSuit and FCOD?
FOS NAF
I suppose that is fair. I guess it is because I found your original argument so convincing that I felt you changing your mind was such a big deal. On top of that this whole situation isn’t realy making any sense to me.
Good luck with this BTW. I have been asking for some sort of consensus for the past couple of Days, the conclusion seemed to be “no way we can get everyone to even come in and say anything”.
I am taking responsibility for my vote. It is my choice. I am not sure, but it seems like the best logic I have heard so far. Frankly I don’t know WHAT to make of this whole situation because I can’t see the advantage to the scum no matter what angle I am comming at it from. So I am mostly trying to figure out how we can get some answers without damaging the town any more than we have to.
That’s because both sides of this clusterfuck have convincing arguments. Well, whoever the real Monks are, curses on you for not coming forward while Zeriel was still alive!
Pygmy Rugger, I think your logic is flawed. You don’t have the choice of catching three or catching two. The number of scum you can catch is fixed, you just don’t know which set contains them. You need to choose the set that is correct not simply the set that is larger.
Well I don’t know what zuma was thinking, and he hasn’t come in to explain it yet.
I know you said it looked like a counter claim to you (or you said something like that), but it doesn’t look that way to me necessarily.
I don’t see any advantage to Idle thrownig away his strong townie cred on such a stupid scheme though. What do the scum gain if Idle is lying. What do they get? I don’t see it. (I don’t see it from your side either, but as I have said, you seem to be the choice that will cause the town the least ammount of collateral damage if we are wrong)
