A non-trusting observer can’t place much weight on your currently unverifiable testimony. Instead, looking at the No-Kill Night, we have to look at what could have happened and how likely the scenarios are. And I find it unlikely that the Cult would have chosen MHaye to recruit. I think it’s most likely that the Cult was blocked. If they did choose to recruit, their only sensible choice was Hockey. Any other choice would’ve been a huge gamble. Even recruiting Hockey is risky, because she’s the obvious choice.
So I think the most likely event was that the Cult was blocked that Night. The reason the Cult is doing this Monk counter-claim is twofold. First, it let’s them ferret out the remaining Monks. And second, it lets them know who they can recruit without risk.
Here’s their plan: no matter who is dunked to Day, the Cult will recruit to Night. They now know who all the roles are. They know who can’t resist their recruitment. And they will have several players to choose from. The Disciple will have to be very lucky to protect the correct target, if even he chooses to not protect the Apprentice.
Unfortunately, Idle, that analysis didn’t require any special knowledge. It’s based solely on the facts available to everyone. It holds even if I am scum. So if the mistrusting observer has to choose between fact-based theory and one that depends on a single player’s unverifiable claim, the choice seems clear.

Everyone just make a goddamn choice. I’m tired of arguing. I tired of having to explain my statements to Idle Thoughts as he continues to twist my words.
I didn’t ask CatinaSuit shit. She asked me why I thought Zeriel was the next best choice for scum to kill instead of her. I replied that the one shot protect two thingy was the reason I figured scum would avoid both MHaye and the Diciple. I moderated my response with the note that as far as I know the public information channels have no clear evidence that the one shot thing had been used. I didn’t see reason why scum would think CatinaSuit was available as a target, and I asked if I was mistaken. That’s it.
Come on sach and NAF, don’t let your angers get the best of you. True this is a emotional game sometimes but it’s only a game. Not even I ever resort to calling names or saying things like “screw you”. : /

My thoughts: if they can convince the Town that MHaye was recruited earlier, we would misinterpret to Night’s recruitment as a block. Or, since they still have a large number of Cultists, they thought it was worth a gamble to get the Town to dunk a true Monk. Or, they may have misunderstood MHaye’s classification of sachertorte and presumed Cookies was the only one (I need to reread those posts to double-check the timeline; zuma’s inebriated posts and then is late claim are suspicious, too).
On preview: Idle, you are as responsible as anyone for making this game emotional. There’s a reason I try to play coldly.
ie. The simplest solution is often the correct one. aka. **CatinaSuit ** goes back to basics.
Before all this started I posted a couple a few thoughts on the result of the night kill herein this post .
It effectively comes down to 2 points.

A claimed role would not a safe point for the Prophet due to a counter claim.**
Then** Idle Thoughts** and **Cookies ** started claiming and counterclaiming and I will admit to having been caught up in it.
However, the only way I can see Idle Thought’s claim being correct is that the recruitment has taken place on Day 6 and I could compose several reams on how this is possible.
And in doing so, I completely contradict my initial thoughts that were made without all this going on.
So where does that leave us.
Applying Occam’s Razor.
**Idle Thoughts ** claim revolves around **MHaye ** being recruited. This is the unlikely option so **Idle Thoughts ** is a Cultist.
From this, if **Idle Thoughts ** is a cultist, so is zuma v.2
Neither of these two are the Prophet.

This is true. So by all means, if you want to dunk me, then dunk me. My only qualm is that it will be too late then and this is the Day’s votes that matter.
But another thing in my defense, at least as I see it, is why is Cookies and Sach not voting for me if they know me to be scum? Even Sach just voted NAF when he says before that what YOU yourself said: that everyone has to band together on someone. Why not go with what you supposidly “know” then? You’d think he would, no?
But whatever. Either it’s me toDay and you all find out then or it’s him…either way they’ll be exposed. Here’s hoping that it won’t be too late then.

None of those explinations make sense to me, but frankly neither do any of the explination on the other side. They could kill the true monks at night, I can’t imagine that they would have failed to carefully look at everything MHaye was saying. I don’t understand why they would care at this point if the town knew they recruited or not. If out numbers are right if they recruit tonight they win. It just didn’t seem that way to me. Seems like you were digging a bit to hopefully get some kind of an answer either way. I even just reread it now and it still seems that way…but if I’m wrong, well, so be it and I’m sorry for misrepresentating your post.
