White Queso
1.5 # sharp white cheddar
.5 # Velveeta, in chunks
1/2 cup beer or heavy cream
1 small white onion
2 tomatoes
3 jalapenos
Saute chopped vegetables in a little oil. Grate cheddar. Place cheddar and Velveeta in double boiler. Melt, add beer or cream and stir vigorously until smooth. Stir in vegetables.

Let’s examine the facts. Zenster implied that there where several members who had no issue with him. Sapphire Bullet disagreed and started this thread. Others responded since this was the appropriate place to do so versus pissing all over another thread.
Has anyone called him on any off board behaviors? No.

So far, the complaints have been about the wordiness of his posts and his pretentious nature - ON THE BOARDS. No one has insulted him personally or called his character into question. For all I know, the college of Cardinals has him penciled to be the next Pope - I can only base my judgment on what he presents here.

I always thought that he likes these threads. And, indeed, there are certain perks.
He gets to be the center of attention. He gets to play the role of wounded victim, causing people who like him but never bothered to say so to rush to his public defense. Being the wounded victim also gives him the moral latitude to lash out at people. And the pile-on can get so over-the-top that he comes off as a sympathetic figure.

All I’m saying is that I hope Zenster sees the humor in Ike’s post. I’m one of the folks around here that likes/doesn’t have a problem with Zen, and I thought it was pretty damn funny, aside from the snarky bits. And, starting a thread about one or two lame thoughts in the middle of a strange debate is, well, kind of lame, IMHO. That’s all. Oh, and I agree with Ogre.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but Zenster seems to be saying that he estimates 29,000 Dopers who don’t have a problem with him. That’s a far cry from “like him” or “take any notice whatsoever of him”. I am making no statements about Zenster himself, just noting that he did not say what some are attributing to him.
