Army of Darkness
The Caine Mutiny
Big Jake
Sands of Iwo Jima (covers two requirements - a war movie and has John Wayne)
The Godfather Parts I and II (Brando, DeNiro, Caan, Duval, and Pacino all in the same movie)
Diner (to calm the nerves a little after all the mayhem of the first two, but still with enough testosterone to maintain the edge)
In my house the Trilogy seems to usually be:
Tombstone
Gladiator
The Longest Day
Sometimes it’s replaced with:
Sons of Katie Elder
Uncle Buck
Major League, Bull Durham or The Natural
You’re all a bunch of pansies!
No one has mentiond Smokey and the Bandit?? This place needs a testosterone transplant.
Along with that throw in Die Hard and Major League and you got some serous guy-stuff going on.
The Killer
The Blues Brothers
Gettysburg
I consider Die Hard more of a Christmas movie.
If there’s one Mel Gibson movie that deserves a place in the ‘Guy Movie’ List, it has to be
The Road Warrior
It’s got post-apocalyptic weirdos and great car chases with a simple plot to hold them together.
Next would be Apocalypse Now
Followed by The Blues Brothers
The Dirty Dozen
The Longest Yard
Red Dawn
Hey, you forgot Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.
Otto didn’t forget nothing, bagkitty:
Guy movies and why I like 'em
**Kelly’s Heroes: **Celebrating the willingness to break the rules to steal the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow
**The Magnificent Seven: **Celebrating the willingness to protect the weak and look really cool while shooting the bad guys
**Animal House: **Celebrating massive intoxication, healthy fornication and getting revenge at the mo-fos that they’ll remember for years to come
Okay, bagkitty made a bad… I was just getting a little tired of the “more bang for the buck” crap that was listed. Three cheers for Otto…
Slap Shot
The Gumball Rally
The Hustler
Paul Newman 2/3, the ultimate guy’s guy.

God, I hated that movie. It was all about cattiness and backstabbing in the Entertainment Industry. Every character was repulsive. Hell, I get my yearly dose of that just from watching the Oscars – I couldn’t imagine liking that film no matter which gender I preferred to have sex with!
Besides, what gay movie collection is complete without An American in Paris? During that whole final song-and-dance number, I was thinking, “Oscar Wilde only wishes he were this gay!”
Hard to reduce it to just three, but here’s my trilogy:
Fight Club
Reservoir Dogs
Jaws
Die Hard
Lethal Weapon
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Of course, I’m not a guy, so I could be wrong.
Bad Day at Black Rock
The Maltese Falcon
Big Jake
Manly men being manly!
The Ultimate Man-Combo:
Tombstone
Die Hard
Escape From New York
Watch 'em in order! There’s Olde Western, 20th Century, and the Future all in a row!

You swiped that line from MST3K!
I admire the hell out of that! It takes skill to use a MST3K quote in ordinary conversation.
And Gobear: your list needs something by Judy Garland! I say: lose “All About Eve” and put in “Summer Stock” (Judy Garland doing “Get Happy”, and a duet with Gene Kelly where they do “You, Wonderful You!”, etc). Or would “A Star is Born” be better?
Fenris
Mask of Zorro
Licence To Kill
Swingers

Is it just me, or is 1997 no longer the future? Seems more like the past to me.
Anyways, I shall pick…
Commando Slash, slash, kill, kill. Who needs a plot, anyways? Plots just take time away from the killing… (heh…)
The Matrix because it was, well, cool. 'Nuff said.
[sub] and finally, The Full Monty[/sub]
Pay no attention to the small print!
Seriously, the last pick I shall choose is Terminator 2 I really don’t know why, I just will.
