Mark Your Calendars: NYC MegaDopefest III -- January 3-5, 2003

If I’m still alive, I’ll consider showing up.

The Weird-Norths shall be in attendance.

Hey, Perseph wanna meet me for coffee Friday morning? Who knows, maybe we’ll actually get to have some coffee this time.

I look forward to seeing you again, hon.

[sub]cross-streets, cross-streets[/sub]

BTW, that’s right around my sister’s birthday, too. And she just joined the Board recently. SparrowHawk.

I doubt she’ll be there, though, as she lives in Honolulu… :frowning:

Dave: I’m there. And I’ll remember to tell you the cross streets.

Thanks, doll. It’s just that I get a little cranky when I can’t have my morning coffee…

I’ll talk to my car and see if it’ll let me do the drive again…

but I promise not to whine about it so much this time.

Never mind. Got a place.

You NYC Dopers are so freaking nice it makes me just want to cry, it does.

If I show up, I will be having breakfast at The Carnegie Deli. Anyone who wishes to join me may.

As being the person to sleep on the bed of nails at the last dopefest, let me just say that they were quite comfortable.
As for this year… let JustPlainBryan and I get back to you guys on this one. Considering we’ve got a wedding to plan and pay for, I’m not sure if we’ll be able to afford coming out this time.

I’d definitely like to show up, although it depends (of course) on my fund situation. The fund situation will be greatly helped if I can carpool with Hamy and sleep on someone’s (Billdo? Biggirl?) floor/sofa/bathtub.

I am actually old enough to drink legally this time around, so it’s going to get a lot crazier than just dancing on bars, folks. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

I can probably take the Long Island Railroad in for at least Friday night, if not both days…Can I get in touch with a fellow NYC-area Doper about wheelchair accessible restaurants & bars, maybesortakinda?

Cosmo, we’ll add wheelchair accessability to the list of planning considerations. That shouldn’t be too tough to do these days (he says, not having really considered the problem before and getting prepared to be horrified).

N4S, check your e-mail.

Billdo, if you make it possible for N4S to be there, I’ll be your friend forever.

Sarah, I still owe you a smooch for posting that you thought I was in my mid-30s. Where else can a guy lose seven years that quickly? Besides, you’re one fun chick and I dig ya.

Zappo, you and I are now men on a mission. There’s one upstate DoperChick who simply must be there. Let’s get to work! And make sure she wears her fedora.

Jeez-Louise, I’m getting cranked for this already, and it ain’t even Labor Day.

**Nacho4Sara’s ** gonna be there???

OH yeah.

Awwwwright! I’m with ya, brother. Some LiveJournal double-teaming and we should get her worked over pretty good, dontcha think?

Is there any crash space left for a poor Doper driving in from The Big Scrapple? In the alternative, anybody wanna split a room?

Zap!

Yay! I will permanent marker it in once I get my 2003 date book. :stuck_out_tongue:

Look forward to seeing/meeting all the out of towners again!

Ace’s place has lots of space.

If you like it hard, the yard.

For encasement, get down in the basement!

Room for a platoon, if they bring sleeping bags.

There’s a couch that folds out and one that does not

A fouton, a recliner, is that all that I’ve got?

Two sleeping bags, two roomates and two beds, and that’s quite a lot.

Ace’s space is the place, so RSVP for the spot.

So tempting. So very very tempting.

So hard to make it. Update soon.

Billdo, no need to worry - I can do a large part of the work in terms of finding accessible places to party. I’ll keep in touch.
