Martin_Hyde has been banned for violation of the Registration Agreement. Specifically for grossly misrepresenting themselves on the SDMB.

We’re dealing with a long term poster that has claimed experience to speak from authority.

We’re dealing with some level of Stolen Valor as the poster has spoken of both enlisting and going to West Point. He has stated he retired as both a Captain and Colonel.

He has also obliquely threatened to dox other posters:

And yet I’ve seen this very thing done. I’ve actually done it myself as well, I’ve been involved in some very adversarial things on other forums where I have obtained personal information on other people to use defensively if I felt the need, or to provide to people who were being targeted for attack themselves to use as a way to counter.
