Mary Ann or Ginger?

Mary Ann, in pantyhose (see MPSIMS).

I have been in the logistics field for 16 years so I would have to go with Mary Anne. Ginger is a high maintenance item with low cost to benefit ratio.

ILLEGITIMUS NON CARBORUNDUM EST

I wasn’t going to post on this topic at all, but there is one issue on which I feel very strongly, and I can no longer remain silent about it.

Julia Roberts is downright repulsive, and I wouldn’t kiss her for money. Stoidela, jinky, et al: I support your right to think otherwise, but may I suggest a visit to your local optician?

We now return you to your regularly scheduled thread, already in progress.

Of course I don’t fit in; I’m part of a better puzzle.

Auraseer, I’m a little unclear. How do you really feel?
Oh, and BTW, Maryanne.

Livin’ on Tums, Vitamin E and Rogaine

MaryAnn, in briefs, eating the inside of an Oreo, and drinking a Pepsi.

I can’t remember which episode, but I recall this comment made by Ginger:

Skipper: “We don’t have time for tomfoolery.”
Ginger: “I always have time for Tomfoolery. Dick, and Harryfoolery, too.”

Her pause after “Dick” made it quite clear what she meant. Still, it’s gotta be Mary Ann.

Too young for Gilligan’s Isle.
Would’ve been Rachel, but some goddamn bitch trainer told Jennifer Aniston to lose weight and she did and now she just one more pretty, way-too-skinny actress. sigh…
Come on, guys, support me, we don’t like bones, we like women who have somethin to love, ya know? ex:Courtney Cox-way too skinny.

Definite Ginger vote.

Did anyone see the new Western Union commerical with Dawn Wells. DAMN she aged well.

I vote for Mary Ann of Gilligan’s Island, Bailey Quarters of WKRP, Rachel Green of Friends and Heidi as Tool Time Girl.

On a related note what about:
Law & Order: Jill Hennessy (sp) or Carey Lowell or Angie Harmon
I vote for Jill Hennessy

Ally McBeal: Ally, Georgia, Renee, Elaine, Ling or Nelle

I split my vote between Ling & Renee

Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Buffy, Willow, Cordelia or Faith?

It’s gotta be Buffy.

Star Trek TNG: Dr. Crusher v. Counselor Troi

I don’t know, I’m still thinking about Buffy

Time to get some more info on this. So BUMP

Oh, Ginger, I think.

I was also partial to Jebbifer on WKRP and Janet on Three’s Company

Dukes of Hazzard- Bo or Luke?

My crush was on Bo in 4th grade, but when I caught the reruns a couple years ago, I wondered what I was thinking. Luke, all the way. Funny how your tastes change.

You changed your opinion? Maybe this is peculiar to women. If you’re talking about how one had surgery or gained weight or whatever and that changed you attraction, thats one thing . However, to change your feelings about a recorded film is astounding to me.

Mary Ann. Always and forever.

Are there men out there who used to say one and have changed their minds? Maybe we’ve uncovered a significant difference between men and women.

Maybe if I had a traumatic experience with a brunette with pigtails or something. I just can’t imagine changing my preferences like sugaree describes. Even when talking about shows I didn’t watch much, my tastes are the same. I referred the brunette with the shorter hair tover Farrah Faucett in Charlie’s Angels. I can’t even remember her name but my preference has not changed. And I’m not down on blonde’s, I haven’t even seen an entire episode but I like Buffy over the other characters.

Is this a hijack? Should I start a new thread? I’ll wait to see if anyone cares. I think that sugaree was attempting a hijack and I’ve now attempted a hijack in response to the hijack.

Well, it may be peculiar to women, but not to all women. I thought Bo was cuter then, and watching the reruns, I still do

Vile (may I call you Vile?) I think that this is right on topic- after all, Shirley named her fave Brady. Yeah, I’m fickle. Maybe my husband should worry.

Bo probably is better looking, ruadh, but Luke ain’t no slouch, and his IQ seems to hover closer to a 100. You could have a real conversation with him as you cruised around in the General. You could dress him and take him out of the swamp.

I think that this puts me in the Mary Ann/Bailey/Betty camp. Luke could be a buddy/soulmate.

Hmmm . . . Well, IMHO ( ), I’d go with Mary Ann, Bailey, and Rachel (before she got too thin).

I’ll throw another one out there: Pinky or Leather Tuscadero?

[Moderator Hat ON]

Ya said the magic word! One trip to IMHO, coming right up.

[Moderator Hat OFF]

 LMAO

Oh, and Mary Ann for me too. Give me a real person over a walking talking blow-up doll anytime.

Renee, obviously. None of the others turns my crank. I like women who weigh more than their shoes. That’s the big thing that bugs me about David E. Kelley’s TV shows – for some reason, he tends to favor these grotesque stick-insect women. (C.f. Lara Flynn Boyle on “The Practice.”)

And I don’t get the Julia Roberts thing either. I think she’s a talented movie personality (not actor), and can hold down the center of a film through sheer force of charm, but I don’t find her spectacularly attractive or anything. Now, Gina Gershon, there’s a different story… rrowwrrr…
