Someone opened fire into a crowd standing outside, police said, and the vehicle immediately drove away.
Even in a dense crowd it usually takes a lot of bullets fired to injure 18 people.
Despite the article, a lot of bullets suggests either multiple shooters or automatic weapons.
This would be #29 if we get word on only one killer;

I’m fairly familiar with Anaconda (my father, on whom be peace, was born & raised there and when I was younger we went back at least a couple of times a year). There are plenty of places to the west where he could hide out, though I’m pretty sure he’ll be tracked down; whether he’ll survive to be arrested is an open question. I’ve never been to the Owl, but odds are that it’s a grit-city, lower-middle-class neighborhood watering hole like most of the others in town.
The Elder Ottlet sent me a blurb saying that Anaconda was shut down because of the shooting, and my reflex — and borderline inappropriate — response was, “How could they tell?” It’s one of those places where people stick around because it’s “home”, but it never really recovered after the smelter closed 45 years ago.
