Right now I drive a 2003 Nissan Xterra, my wife drives an 2002 Dodge Caravan.
I’d like to drive a classic oldsmobile, maybe something from the mid-70’s with a 454. My wife has always wanted a Cadillac.
2001 Nissan Sentra. I’ve only had it since September, but I’m rather fond of it. Looks respectable, hauls plants and dirt around without complaints, can accommodate my niece and nephew, when necessary. First car I’ve owned where I actually like the color (jade). I hardly ever need to drive, so my main requirement is that it will get me from point A to point B reliably for a really long time.
My neighbor owns the coolest sportscar ever. I’ve never seen one like it. He has automotive connections, so it’s probably a rare breed. I can’t imagine owning something like it, but it’s nice to get to admire it occasionally.
'93 Nissan Pathfinder. 180,000 miles. I just can’t break the thing. It has never failed to start, never failed to get me where I wan’t to go and home again.
My Wife has a '02 Grand Jeep Cherokee. Very nice vehicle. Still rugged enough that I consider it an SUV. But very nice to drive on the road.
When I replace the Pathfinder in a few years, I will probably take the Jeep, and my wife will get the new vehicle. I just hope that there are still a few SUV’s to choose from when that time comes

By far my favorite car so far. Four wheel drive is great for our winters, and the its not huge, but big enuf for smaller projects. Best thing is I’ve only had to repair the clutch plate ($200) since I’ve bought it. Reliable as hell.
And no, I’m not going to “race” you. And yes, I would probably “beat” you. Especially if you’re driving a dropped Civic, Eclipse, or Neon with an aftermarket spoiler and chrome exhaust tip. You’re just going to have to accept that.
A Champagne (sparkly) convertible, 2001 Corvette. This is my dream car. I look GOOD in it
And Severian I won’t race you either, It would only embarrass you.
'03 Subaru Outback. Not great mileage, but heavy enough to make me feel safe when I’m next to an 18 wheeler going 80 MPH on Interstate 10. And a very very comfortable car, for short and long hauls. I know it’s not officially cold here in the desert, but this winter I have used the seat heater many times on an early morning. Fantastic!
My dream car - probably an '05 Outback! And a Porsche, not for work but for trips into LA and Vegas and such.
