The thing about Dunning Kruger is that it works even at a meta level. That is, stupid people don’t recognise that they are stupid, and even if you explain the Dunning Kruger effect they don’t recognise that they don’t recognise that they are stupid.

There’s plenty of debate, since “strong religious conviction” is not required to have integrity or ethics (or morality). You only think it does because that’s what you want to be true, and you want to use that position to force others into following your beliefs whether they want to or not.
I’ve watched this thread for a bit, wondering if this person would actually answer a question straight or provide support for his statements or even show a bit of rationality. Alll he’s shown is rationalization ability. Feh.
I don’t think its entirely a waste of time. Yes there is no chance that he can actually be convinced to engage in rational debate, but for some poking a troll is fun and so for them this thread has entertainment value. For the rest of us, it keeps him occupied in this thread so that he won’t infect the rest of the board.
