Mist and Murk in the MMP!

:beers: Cheers! :clinking_glasses:

(Wow, there’s a lot of alcohol emoji available.)

We managed not to confuse too many … okay, no. We confused a LOT of West Michigan’s potheads today.

Thankfully, it was reeeeeeally quiet today, so we could work through things on the fly as we figured out this should be here/that needs to be there/we need more of this/we don’t need that.

Trying to decide some sort of dinner now. The kitchen is a mess so I am leaning heavily towards letting the good folks at Chili’s fix my food and help with cleanup - by packaging everything into disposable stuff, that I can quickly shove into my Big Bin At The Curb Already while being excommunicated from any hippie/environmentalist cred I may formerly have possessed.

I give them branches to climb/gnaw on.

Wheels are … interesting with ASF. They tend to heap themselves onto it - all trying to run in different directions, which is hilarious to watch - until everyone piles up for a nap & the wheel turns into a bunk bed; some inside it, some on top, some shoved into the bedding directly underneath the wheel, for reasons that clearly make sense to (and only to) the rodent mind.

Howdy Y’all! We have supped, participated in fartfest, and the biiiiiiiiiiiiig trash can has been hauled all the way down to the road for pickup tomorrow. Thus endeth Sunday at da cave. I’m ‘puterin’ whilst OYKW lounges upon the bed and watches a DVD of “Keeping Up Appearances” cause he said he needed a Hyacinth Boo-Kay fix. He’s weird but I’m kinda sorta used to him, so I’ll keep him around.

Hippie :wine_glass: :beers: :cocktail: CHEERS! :sake: :champagne: :tropical_drink: I figure we might as well just have a party!

{{{Nellie}}} so sorry about your friend!

My kids always make me laugh. As my daughter said, “The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.” In other words, it’s my fault they have such a wicked sense of humor. I happily claim responsibility on that one.

I had the bath. The water looked like it had been dug out of the Mississippi mud, but it was relaxing.

I hope my former colleague is at peace. She was a kind person. It’s our loss she had to leave so soon.

They may be a chain (and they may be sliding down the mediocrity ramp from their heyday * ) but Chili’s was the exactly correct dinner solution tonight.

( * ) re: heyday. Look, purple, just face it. The 90s were a lonnng time ago.

Me: yeah what, like, ten? fifteen years ago?

:crazy_face:

I love that show. Your OYKW has excellent taste.

Well, of course he does. He chose swampy, didn’t he?

YES! And they were hidden.

Not many of them. A young mama; they usually go on to have litters of 10-15+ but often start at a modest half dozen or so for their first go-around.

Seems they’ve been cared for well; a robust little crew, NOISY, sporting abundant little fat rolls. Good job, momma (and aunties … ASF do everything, especially raising babies, as a team effort.)

That’s not how I heard it.

For the coming nights:

Want one, right now. Cures what ails yah.

[yes, mooom, coordinating coasters will be used]

(of stealth rattie babies)

Got pictures? :slight_smile:

The next couple of days are forecast windy and in the 70s . Yes, I live in northern California, but it is DECEMBER. Ridiculous.

{{{{hugs}}}}

Sorry to hear about your friend, {{{nellie}}}

mooom ginger chocolate is exactly that - chocolate with ginger bits in it!

Cheers!
(Dark & Stormy – Gosling’s rum with Gosling’s ginger beer)

Hot buttered rum for me, please!

Me too! They were my first favorite, except I prefer only a wee dab of butter and then only real butter. I’m in it for the rum and the hot, fragrant liquid. Lemon or orange also welcome.

I brought up the whiskey toddies to broaden my horizons as well as to hopefully encourage others to come along.

Cheers :coffee: :wine_glass: :clinking_glasses:

ETA: apologies to all. Would someone who knows how move this to the thread from which it came? Not that a whiskey toddy would be a bad idea for us here at this junction in this thread.
