I’ll second CM in the best B&J ice cream.
HOWEVER: there is MUCH better cream out there. Doe you guys have Australian Ice Cream stores over there ? They’ve been around in Europe now for a year or two. And their ice cream is DIVINE. No artificial flavours, no stabilizers, no NOTHING but pure fruit / chocolate / etc.
By no means am I affiliated with them. But them Aussies know their ice cream !

I’ve not had B&J’s (Breyer’s is my favorite: I understand what each ingredient is) however I tried Godiva brand White Chocolate Raspberry this weekend. Truly, the best flavor I’ve tried to date.

Although I am in complete sympathy and agreement with the Master Ben & Jerry’s Plan for the Subjugation of Right-Thinking Capitalists into a Millenial Form of NeoMarxist Socialism (plus the New World Order for Incinerating the Works of Ayn Rand), I’ve got to say that I find the ice cream to be overly sweet and unpleasantly gummy in texture.
So when I want the stuff, I usually opt for Haagen Daz’s Dulce de Leche. Secure in the knowledge that my frozen treat budget is going toward institutionalized school prayer and the slaughter of baby seals.

I think Ben & Jerry’s is crude and over-hyped. their socialist leanings notwithstanding, the ice cream just isn’t that good.

Haagen Daz Dulce de Leche it is! Even better - Godiva Pecan Caramel Truffle. It is to DIE for.
Not a big fan of B&J’s, I’ll eat it occasionally, but it is usually not worth the pain it will cause me later (Am alergic to something in dairy, not lactose though, at least, yogurt and cheese don’t bother me nearly as much, but milk and ice cream do their number on me often. ) I prefer Hagen-Daaz or breyers. As for flavor, Vanilla is best, followed by mint chocolate chip or Peanut-Butter Fudge. If I am splurging, and getting a milk-shake, PB-F is best…like sucking Reeses through a straw, YUM!!!
