during my first pregnancy, i sent my poor hubby out in the middle of the night(on many occasions) to pick up heath bar crunch.

New York Super Fudge Chunk kicks all kind of ass.
I also like B&J’s Triple Caramel Chunk, and this limited edition Marble Mint Chunk that tasted just like those little flat Andes mints.
As for stuff that isn’t B&J’s, I like the Godiva Chocolate Hazelnut Praline and Chocolate Rasberry Truffle.
The BEST ice cream, though, hands down, comes from a place called Scream in Columbus. They make “weird” flavors of ice cream. My favorites are Basil, Bittersweet Chocolate Rose Petal, Hot Chocolate (chocolate with pepper), and Champagne Ice. The most normal flavors they make are Burnt Sugar, Bittersweet Chocolate Orange (tastes like those Toblerone things, only better), and Buttercream (the sign for that says “So French, it’ll hate you”). That place kicks ass, but it’s only for the adventurous.
You don’t like B&J’s liberalism, so you won’t buy their products. Do you have the same problem with Coors beer and Carl’s Jr. hamburgers?
And I’ll pop in to espouse my weirdness again…
I don’t go in much for ice cream, but B&J’s sorbets are several hundred degrees below cool. Purple Passion Fruit and Doonesberry were a staple for me during Carbondale summers. I wish I could find them; they’re scarce of late. (And I have a new use for the Passion Fruit one…)
He weathered a firestorm of agony and did not break.
And while Yori raged against his unbending
courage, we took Kyuden Hiruma back.
His loss is great, but so is the gift his suffering brought.
