Mods, Would it be appropriate to report this poster/these posts?

Consistantly, in every pet help thread Unregistered Bull comes and totally hijacks the thread with his anti-animal opinions. Here and here are examples just from today. Although I (reluctantly) agree that he has a right to his opinion, I don’t think he has a right to co-opt the threads to use them as a personal forum, but do they really qualify for hitting the “report this post” button?

Never mind - I just saw the slap from my new hero, SkipMagic.

For the record, the staff has said repeatedly that (paraphrashing) it is appropriate to report ANY post you feel is objectionable or otherwise requires the attention of the staff. They would much rather get a dozen reports of a post that turned out to be ok, than to not get any for one that needed attention.

If in doubt, why not just report the post and let the mods sort it out? Just reporting doesn’t automatically bring a reprimand, but may get the mods attention just a tad faster.

The “report this post” button is the preferred method, regardless of what the canned verbiage says when you click it. The mods have stated many times that they would prefer you to use the report post button than to start a thread in ATMB.

This is so important that I’ve never understood why the wordage hasn’t been changed to something understandable. Jerry, what’s the excuse here?

I saw a recent thread on this, but of course I cannot find it.
I am trying an advance search.
Waiting…waiting…waiting…
Nope I forgot to narrow the search to one just this forum.
Search engine doesn’t understand “report this post” is to be treated as one phrase. It parsed and searched. Anyone know this trick.
next try Waiting…waiting…waiting…
