Your kid might be interested in the War Museum. Sounds scary, but it really provides a Canadian perspective on our military history.

Im pumped. Going to Ottawa on the Saturday evening, then will be all raring to go for Sunday at Byward market.
On a related note, I have a favour to ask. Do any of our Montreal Dopers attending the Ottawa Dopefest live/work anywhere near the Sheraton Centre Hotel on boul. Rene Levesque? I left a jacket there :smack: in late July and I would be eternally grateful if someone could pick it up and bring it to Ottawa with them?

I am going to take a 15 dollar ride share on Saturday afternoon to Ottawa. I have an air b and b booked sat sun and monday night in Ottawa. I was going to stay the extra day in Montreal but the accommodations worked better in Ottawa. I am so ridiculously excited for this trip, seeing my stepson, and then the Dope fest. To finally meet some more Dopers will be awesome!
