St-Supplice = St-Sulpice
The pun is based on the Sulpician order who used to run some schools in Québec. They tended to be harsh with the students so, naturally, they were nicknamed Suppliciens (in English, torturers).
Just got off the phone with matt. He’s leaving Thursday, the 27th. He was hoping we could have a mini-Dope tomorrow (June 24) but I don’t know if it’s possible. 
We could still do something in his absence this weekend, and raise a toast to him.

Daerlyn, it is located on the west side of St-Denis, between de Maisonneuve and Ontario. It’s fairly easy to find, just follow the crowds.
As for meeting this week, I wouldn’t be available until Friday myself, unfortunately.
So is anything going on tonight? Daerlyn and I are waiting with bated breath.
Laur, honey, I’ve been asleep most of the long weekend, so I’m really in no shape to go out, considering I have to (pretend to) work tomorrow.
I know matt’s leaving Thursday, so if you guys want to go ahead and do something, that’s cool. Otherwise, we could always do something this weekend.
I also have to spend the week bunny-proofing my place, as Bunny will be coming back to live with me this weekend. Having lived with her before, let me tell you, it’s a more daunting task than you’d think. :eek:

Barbarian has indicated he was in Montréal this week with indication he would be in either Hurley’s or the St-Sulpice on Friday.
matt_mcl is leaving for Spain this Thursday.
I suggested we gather to introduce ourselves to each other and maybe plan something for this August Dopefest (like, find out who’s turn it is to bring the goat :D).
Now, I intend to be at Hurley’s this Friday around 8 PM to see if we can meet, everybody is welcomed.
Alternately, matt_mcl has indicated that he would be at the anti-G8 rally today at Parc Lafontaine tonight around 6 PM, that is another potential meeting, so let me know…
I can probably make it to Hurley’s for a bit on Friday evening, but I’ll still be scrambling to bunny-proof my place if she’ll indeed be coming to live with me on Saturday.
How will I recognize anyone? That place gets pretty crowded…
