See, that’s what you get for not coming into chat. They got to see the shirt!
I WAS in chat … you were DaerASLEEP.
It happens . . . fairly often, as I’m sure you’ve inferred by this time. The trick is to be in there when I’m not asleep.
Well some of us work for a linving and can’t always do that
I do work for a living. Just strange hours. Ah, well, eventually you’ll get to see that shirt.
Well I was thinking about a private Ottadope…

So, Scott/Jeremy… get crackin on the scanning
[/unrelated to above]
So CuriousCanuck, how YOU doin’?
hee
If I can interrupt, CuriousCanuck’s and Daerlyn’s flirst-fest for a moment, I just like to say great weekend. It was good to meet everyone.
detop – thanks for organizing activities, not to mention getting a minivan and driver for Saturday.
scott evil – Queen of Fucking Everything, thanks for making sure I didn’t get lost in the city – est, ouest, what’s the difference.
jeremy evil – scott’s better half (or is it the other way around?) and group photographer – we eagerly await pictures.
Curious – disco dancing maniac – have you found that button yet?
Stephi – hope you’re feeling better. Sorry you missed out on the sugaring.
LaurAnge – I hope you’re not wishing you had missed the sugaring. We need to get New & Improved Scott out for the next one.
matt_mcl – just for you: worst comes to worst
Duke – I hope the trip back was better than the trip up; I’m sure you got to see more. Maybe I’ll see you at the Central PA get together.
Eonwe and whatmove – glad you could join us for the sugaring; sorry you couldn’t come to the city for more fun. I’m glad I finally know where UVM came from.
Daerlyn – I hope next time you’re able to join in for more activities, and I hope the servers don’t crash anytime soon again.
clayton_e – sorry things didn’t work out; hope everything’s okay.
I’m looking forward to the big MontrealDope/QueerDope/JazzDope/whatever-it-ends-up-begin-dope this summer. We need to have more New Yorkers and other assorted Americans get up to Montreal next time.
Thanks for asking. I am alive, so that’s all that counts. And my lies to the border patrol were better than those offered by the Montreal contingent on their way to NYCDope.

A) We’re done now, thanks, and
B) YES! I was right, matt!
Why yes, I AM slightly crazy, thanks for asking.
We’re done? Well, it was fun while it lasted…
Ah, but see, that’s what email is for, so we can stop messing up the thread.
True.
Scott, Jeremy… pics??
Jeez, take a cold shower, Curious, or you two get a room! I have to get the pics developed and scanned first, then I have to do cosmetic Photoshopping (red-eye, blemishes, etc.). Since no one brought a digicam, this is pretty much our only record of Sugardope 2003.
Anyway, I hope to see you all - and many, many others - this summer at Doperéal II: Boogaloo électrique. detop and I were talking about it over the weekend. If possible and people can make it, we’d like to tie it in with Divers/Cité (Montreal Queer Pride), which is at the end of July. We’ll probably announce it at the end of April, to give out-of-town Dopers adequate time to plan.
À la prochaine !
I think I can make it
Maybe I’ll even bring a digicam… if you tyhink we’ll want to keep a record…
Glad to hear that everybody enjoyed themselves. Guess that means it should become an annual event then ?
So, what did you win ?
Yeah, detop, we should do Sugardope in the spring and Doperéal in the summer. This year, we could spread Doperéal fun over four days or something, and maybe hit places like La Ronde, the Botanical Gardens, do the tam tam jam on Mont-Royal, etc.
I WILL be there.
Promises, promises…
