Guess what got delivered today? Paper towels! 
At least I’m not going to run out of them any time soon…
I have an appointment tomorrow morning for a CT scan of my heart (paranoid cardiologist: my exercise stress test results were fine, but she didn’t like how quickly I ran out of breath). The appointment starts at 8:30 but I have to get there at 7:30, and today I got a voicemail saying it could take 2-4 hours (it will take longer if I need medication to slow my heart rate for the imaging)! 
To be safe, I told my boss that I might not get home/be online until around 1pm.
After nearly four months, I think I’m officially tired of all of these appointments and tests. The “final exam” will be an endoscopy in two weeks…surgery is four weeks from today!
In case this is any consolation in the future: before I started taking Nexium for my acid reflux, I would sometimes wake up choking on vomit. It isn’t pleasant, but as long as you aren’t super drunk or high (etc.) your body won’t let you die if you throw up in your sleep. 
Sorry if you mentioned this way back when the itching started and I’ve forgotten, but: could a trip to urgent care be possible/helpful?
