More Miscellaneous Morning Musings - An MMP

I like Trader Joe’s. I always find something we “need” there and their pet food is very good quality. Our local Trader Joe’s charges for the nice paper bags, but the clerks always make sure to tell us. I bring my own bags, but always buy one of their bags for the cats. Usually when I tell them I’m buying the bag for cats, they will dig around to find one that the handles had come off to give me for free. That’s even better because I would have cut the handles before giving the bag to the cats.

Back from dinner. Our friends live even more out in the middle of nowhere than us and their road was pretty beat up so the drive home in the dark was a bit of an adventure that included braking hard for the Javalina pack that chose to cross the narrow road on the other side of a blind curve. They haven’t been able to fix their road because of the monsoons, but we all would rather have water than smooth roads so bring on the rain!

Dinner was good, she really likes her new Instant Pot and would buy it again. Hubs and I keep talking about getting one and I think she has convinced us to give it a try.

It’s after 8pm and the cat food has been picked up but nobody has noticed yet. I expect the drama to start in the wee hours of the morning. As far as I know, this is going to be the first time George has ever been hungry for longer than a few minutes and he’s already a drama queen.

I doubt getting fixed will make him less of a jerk, I think its just going to take time. I really didn’t want a kitten, but adult Maine Coons are in short supply because they are so wonderful that nobody wants to give them up. George will get to the wonderful stage in time, but it won’t be soon enough gosh darnit!

That last part won’t be true til later tomorrow.

Gordie grew out of his hyperactive idiot stage by age 12.

this is going to be us soon … were running outta time to be picky …

As for George its weirds my cats were rotten but oh so lovable as kittens but now there elderly and set in their ways,…
