I know this is off on a tangent, but why indeed, wasn’t Hitler ex-communicated and Mein Kampf put on the list of prohibited books? Maybe there is a thread about this already.
It looks substantial enough, and the numbers are higher than mine had, but also lower than what you quoted so you might want to update yourself.
But there’s differences that are tough to reconcile without knowing more about the exact methodology.
Spark240, I saw something curious in that poll you quoted. It claims that 52% of Egyptians disfavor Muslim Brotherhood to some degree. But there are 33% claiming they don’t know how they feel. Which to me is bullshit, because everyone knows what they think. I believe they are simply obeying their religious mandate to lie. So that gives us 48% who endorse the Muslim Brotherhood. Again, as usual, about half. But we must also factor in the percentage who claim to be unfavorable towards Muslim Brotherhood but who are in fact engaging in their religious mandate to lie. That pushes the average right to where we typically see it…more than half.
Again, look at what gets elected every time Muslims are allowed to vote - Hamas, Hezbollah, Amadmanjihad. There are no decent Muslim countries.
Here’s a challenge to anyone brave enough to pick up the gauntlet:
Name one decent Islamic country where freedom, tolerance, and equality are the rule. Ah, ah! Careful now all you liberals, Muslim apologists, and dhimmis. That’s a trap! There is no such country, although I already know which ones you’re going to name, because your kind always names the same poor choices and I shoot them all down. But hey, go for it!

They’re all going to their silly Islamic heaven of boozing and whoring.
Of course, I don’t believe this would ever happen, I’m just being idealistic. It would be great if that would happen.

Anyway, from where do get the notion that I have, at any point, argued that tolerance, peace and freedom are the norm in any particular ‘Islamic’ (presumably you mean majority muslim) country?
