I’m late, I know, but everyone else seems to have missed this…
FlyingDragonFan, yer very attractive. (never was good at this flirting thing…)
There are plenty of other cuties but this one stuck out at me for some reason…
Ah, you know I think you’re a cutie, darling.
And am I the only one who finds it weird that I specifically was mentioned in that AnonPit thread thingy?
How sad that some $%#hats had to ruin a fun little thread…but I guess that is why I posted my pics from the teemingmillions profiles to begin with–you all know where to find me anyway.
And if I ever remember my password for that one I will update those pictures someday!!
Oh and if anyone has anything to say about my looks, I’ll tell my brother on you…he’s the dark-haired dude in one of those pics. Yes, we are full bro/sis – goes to show how an Irish mom and Sicilian pop can really run the full range of genetic characteristics, aye?
I’m actually up in Tehachapi, but I go to college down at AVC, and I’m in a band based out of Lancaster/Palmdale, so I spend more time there than at home.
I mean, it would be worse. At least it’s not Bakersfield, right?
Oh and by the way: if you need to know any insider info for AVC (which profs to take, and which NOT to take) either I or The Highwayman will be happy to oblige. And gigs. We like to support music out here, so let us know when you play.
If we’re talking Antelope Valley, edge of Mojave… my uncle lives out there in the middle. of. frickin. nowhere. Visited out there with family one time a number of years back. If I went back, I’d probably have to stop and ask a tumbleweed for directions.
Well, I told you I’d get it straightened out. My copy command threw in an extra backslash in the last three addresses of my previous post. Weird. There are strange things that go on in down in the murky depths of Windows XP Home that it’s better not to know too much about.
Speaking of Antelope Valley -
[inside joke] I live in Ridgecrest. We came out here from Iowa in 1950. In Iowa towns are about 8-10 miles apart and in 1950 with only two lane roads for the most part, it took forever to get anywhere.
Anyway we got here in late June and when the 4th of July came along we decided to go to Los Angeles. We left here about noon and along about 2:00 PM we got to Palmdale. Not being all that familiar with the Los Angeles we didn’t want to get in there at night.
So we stayed overnight in Palmdale on a trip from Ridgecrest to Los Angeles.[/inside joke]
This is absolutely not intended as an insult, but wow! I have a hard time wrapping my head around a guy my dad’s age (70’s) being, well, an internet person. And a darn good one, at that! I simply can not imagine my father typing “[/inside joke]” and comprehending it. And he was a radar techie for his entire career, so it’s not like he wasn’t a geek!
I’m probably showing my utter, utter ignorance, but…wow.
