My new novel is out! (Urban fantasy, #1 in the series)

Thanks!

Just 'cuz it made me happy: Stone and a Hard Place is now the #5 bestselling book in the Thrillers and Suspense/Supernatural/Witches & Wizards category!

I’m an Amazon bestselling author!

Yay! I hope my review helped a little.

I’m sure it did!

Maybe you want to add it to this fantasy novel tagging project?

I’m reading it now, very good so far. I’ll be sure to post a review when I’m done. Congrats on your best seller status!

Thank you much! Glad you’re enjoying it, and reviews are always appreciated!

I’m reading it now (almost done) and really enjoying it, which kind of surprised me because I’m not much into urban fantasy. But I’m looking forward to the next in the series!

Glad to hear it! I just got the edits finished for the next one this weekend, so once I get the cover and the ebook files finalized, I’ll announce it. I’m figuring it’ll be available in about a month.

Curious, I looked up the title–just the title and got this: https://www.peginc.com/store/stone-and-a-hard-place-hardback-preorder/

Yep! That’s a game book for Deadlands. I knew about it when I picked my title, but titles can’t be copyrighted and I don’t think we’re really playing in the same sandbox (“Weird west” tabletop RPG vs. urban fantasy novel).

Didn’t think it needed its own thread, but I wanted to announce that my first published novel in the Shadowrun universe is now released and available! If you want to take a look, it’s at Amazon and Drive Thru Fiction.

For anyone who might be interested, I released Book 2 in my series yesterday.

Here it is!

Some of you might remember (or have read) and earlier version of this book–it’s changed fairly significantly since then, especially the first hundred pages or so, and has been subjected to the tender mercies of a professional editor. I think your Kindle copies will get an automatic upgrade–not sure.

Cool, man, thanks for letting us know!

I had a bout of insomnia last night and was delighted to discover Stone and a Hard Place waiting for me on my Kindle app. It was a good read - thanks for sharing!

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!

As always, if you’d consider leaving me a brief review, I’d greatly appreciate it!

Just released the third novel in my series last week. This is another one that was previously released but has been heavily edited/revised.

Here’s the link!

And, because Amazon hasn’t gotten it together and put up the Look Inside link yet, here’s a link to my blog, where I post the first two chapters for a sample. Spoiler warning for chapter 1 if you haven’t read the previous book, but the Prologue is okay.

The plan is to release something new every three months or so–I’ve got the next two finished and ready to go to editing, one more done in first draft, and I’m 60,000 words into the next one. So I should be able to keep the series going for quite some time.

Thanks for taking a look!

ETA: Oh, and Book 2 in the series just got a very nice 5-star review from Awesome Indies.

I followed the link and bought the book…but Amazon reminded me that I’d already bought it on June 3rd, 2013.

I’m confused now! Which book is this?

Yeah, Amazon’s annoying. Even though the book is updated from the original version, there can be problems. I remember you bought the original (you reviewed it! Thanks! :)) If you PM me your email address and preferred format, I’ll send you an updated file.

It’s also available for Kobo. I just bought it. However, I recently started REAMDE a 1042 page brick and it will be a while before I look at it. But I do enjoy urban fantasy. Best of luck.
